The care kindness and consideration shown by Ray and all the staff was outstanding. From the first call made to Ray on the Sunday afternoon to leaving the crematorium after the funeral nothing was too much trouble. I only had personal contact with Ray Loraine and Chris but know all the staff give the same level of care and respect. Your care and kindness made things easier to bear. Thank you. Everything ran so smoothly. I was worried about the flowers on the coffin going back to the church to decorate it and which things would go into the crematorium with the coffin - when you are upset this is something you can forget and quite frankly you don't want the extra worry. To my surprise I saw the funeral director take the flowers himself into a side chapel just before the coffin left the church. It was calmly established what was going where. Thank you Thornnalley!

From the start Thornalley Funeral Services provided a top class service especially in these very difficult times.


Particularly memorable was when I asked for the Funeral car to pass by our house, because of our ages we decided not to attend. This was a very hard decision. However, the car stopped just before our house and Andrew got out and walked in front of the car and then stopped just outside it. Driver and assistant got out, bowed, and showed enormous respect. After a few words Andrew then proceeded to walk in front of the car until reaching further up the road. Magnificent!!!!!Could not have been better . Thank you.
