I have never had to organise a funeral before, and this one was for my lovely Mum. The whole team were so kind and compassionate and actually make a very difficult time  much easier to handle.

Ray instils a sense of calm and authority and I immediately knew that Mum was in good hands. From the lovely men who came to take Mum from the house to Traci who helped when I was worrying about photographs everyone is kind, welcoming and professional and just make things easier. 

Mums service was beautiful and so well organised. I can’t speak highly enough of Thornalley Funeral Services.

Exceptional is the first word that comes to mind when thinking back on how compassionate, caring and respectfully Andrew handled my father’s funeral.

Unfortunately, the funeral was held during covid- 19 lockdown but Government procedures were adhered to whilst providing a professional respectful service. Thornalley Funeral Services also provided a live streaming of the funeral services at Mintlyn Crematorium, enabling family and friends to watch the service in the safety of their own homes.

Andrew managed flawlessly to arrange every single wish, from music requested, to one of the best celebrants, the celebrant Verne handled the service as if she had known my Father, she was remarkable and a credit to her profession.

Andrew was so empathetic to our thoughts and wishes and dealt with everything he could to help make this happen, from the first phone call his compassion and attention to our wishes was second to none!

I would certainly recommend Thornalley Funeral services to my family and friends.

I cannot thank them enough for all their support in dealing with my father’s unexpected death recently. The team that came out to collect him at 2.45am still looked completely professional and they were also very kind.
Nicola and Derek took such great care of us throughout the whole process and both my Mum and I felt they really cared,it wasn’t just a job for them. We were able to tailor the funeral the way we wanted it, and the Order of  Service they created was really lovely.
