Excellent in planning,but not to carry my wifes body into the chapel was unforgiveable. Health and safety drivel. It is clearly quoted as a means of saving money on pall bearers. And if they can’t carry the coffin they are in the wrong job. Deeplydisappointing! I should with hindsight stipulated that as a prerequisite. It should have led to a reduction in the bill!

The service I received from all the staff at Glenrothes Cooperative funeral care, was first class. From the time they collected my husband's body and the upmost care they took of him whilst he was in their care was 1st class. Nothing was to much trouble to them, letting the family in after hours
and even on a bank holiday, I will always be grateful. The day of the funeral we were well looked after, which helped me through the ordeal. I cannot thank them enough.

Dad decided he wanted to have a no fuss funeral and asked me to organise this for him. I had no hesitation but to contact the Co-Op because this had been a service both my dad’s parents had used.
After the first call I made, Dad received the Co-Op Funeral Service brochure, this gave him the information he needed to inform the rest of the family and friends of his wishes.
On Dad’s Passing I contacted our local Co-Op funeral service Hardman & McManus Funeralcare to make the necessary arrangements. This was a difficult time for me, our family, and Dads friends. My first experience with the service provider on Dad’s behalf has been professional, considerate, contactable, and honest throughout the whole process. I would 100% recommend the Hardman & McManus Funeralcare based on Michelle’s customer care service and her professionalism.

I received excellent care from the team in Plymouth.  Sophie went above and beyond to help me organise a funeral via the phone and internet as I was not able to visit the funeral home in person . I was guided through the service with care.

Coop Funeralcare couldn’t have been more helpful in arranging my dad’s funeral. They were so helpful, sensitive and caring and every detail was just beautiful. They arranged everything and the fine details were so lovely. It’s such a sad time but they made things so much easier for me. I also had the comfort and security of using such a reputable firm which was really important to me in light of the terrible news of things that were happening at the funeral directors in Hull. I would recommend without hesitation.

They took care to provide a full all around service both the practical and the consideration of the emotional support. After one phone call and a meeting most of the details had been resolved. We were updated regularly and we worked together to finalize all the details. It may be difficult for some but there was a transparency of the costs so we could match the service costs to what we wanted.
All the staff were excellent and supportive, both for the organisation and on the day of the funeral, which went very smoothly and without issue.
I can recommend the service.
