From the first telephone call to the end of the service i felt our needs were met. We could not have asked for more from yourselves and we would like to thank everybody involved.

A.W.Lymn, Mansfield Woodhouse provided outstanding service during a very difficult time and made everything more bearable.
From the moment we walked in, we felt reassured and relieved that our son was in safe hands all our wishes and needs for arranging his funeral would be well taken care of. Wendy was professional but also friendly and explained everything very clearly.
All the staff we spoke to on the phone or those we met in person, Wendy, Stacey, Andy were extremely helpful and supportive. We appreciated the attention to detail and diligence in ensuring that everything was perfect.
The service was conducted by their civil celebrant Colum. As tough as the day was the service was perfect. The way he was able to express our son’s personality, character and the massive impact on everyone he met was beautiful. So many people spoke to us afterwards and said it was the best service they had ever been to.

It was an honour to support you at such a tragic time. The tribute to Marc in the Chad was wonderful, and the turnout and respectful applause as the cortege paused in Mansfield Market Square was a special moment. It was so sad that we had to arrange a funeral for someone of such a young age, but it truly turned out to be a marvellous day and celebration of Marc’s life, honouring his memory in such positive ways. At such a stressful time, Tom and Tracey made everything very easy and very personal. We were treated with respect and with sympathy and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Tracey was always at the end of the phone when we had questions. Thanks so much for being there to help us through such a difficult time.

Wonderful service in very difficult circumstances. Special mention to Phillip Wilson who went above and beyond to accomodate our wishes. Also, Lucinda Pallett for her sympathetic ear. Only sore point, was the attitude of Nigel, whom my wife found arrogant in the initial stages.

I am very sorry that your Wife found my attitude arrogant in the initial stages, but as you rightly state there were very difficult circumstances that I had to circumnavigate with the other party for you. My Brother and i first used A.W.Lymn for our Fathers funeral three years ago at Cotmanhay and was looked after by Michelle who guided us through the process with professionalism,compassion and sensitivity.We knew that when Mums time came we’d want Michelle again.Luckily after a phone call we found her at the Ilkeston branch.We called to see her just before Mum passed.She remembered us well and was able to reference dads funeral arrangement so we could do mums pretty much the same.
When Mum passed Michelle provided all the help we needed with compassion and a welcome sense of humor.
On the day everything went smoothly and all colleagues involved played their part with professionalism.

Was very pleased with the overall service from AW Lymn. The funeral arranging was excellent as was the organization of the day itself. We had logistical issues with us both living many hours away but Sam was excellent at working around this and was very flexible. Jonathan did an excellent job on the day. Only criticism would be attention to detail from the engravers, if a family member hadn't visited the day before, we would have been very upset on the day of the funeral to see that one of the plaques had the name spelled incorrectly - the others were correct. This was quickly rectified which was great but would have been upsetting if we hadn't seen it beforehand.

I cannot thank A W Lymn Ollerton enough for the help and support in arranging the funeral. They made the whole process so easy and were very compassionate and understanding and helped us make the funeral exactly as we wanted it. They explained the all options and allowed us to make what choices we wanted and did not try to push us into any choices. The support from Sam both before and after the funeral has been fantastic and I cannot thank her enough for this. Also the support from Jonathan on the day of the funeral was also invaluable.
They made a stressful situation much easier for us.

Being in a new country and facing bereavement for the first time was incredibly overwhelming. However, from the very beginning, the AWLYNN team demonstrated the utmost professionalism. I'd like to express our sincere gratitude to Jess for patiently guiding us through the UK funeral process. She meticulously explained everything, addressing all our questions and concerns with care and compassion. Her support in helping us decide what was best for our friend was invaluable, and we will always be grateful. We also deeply appreciate Coby's efforts in managing the funeral arrangements. The staff at Lymns were very helpful and dealt with my needs in a very sympathetic and professional manner. Jessica kept me updated every step of the way and involved my two daughters in planning my husband's funeral so that we could make it perfect.
