The night my father passed and the police came to do the formalities they told us that Thornalley were coming to collect dad. When Thornalleys staff arrived they were polite and thoughtful and very kind, they tended to the task with care. We contacted Thornalleys to look after the funeral arrangements. Ray Thornalley came to speak to us. He was polite, respectful and very professional. He guided us through the process, and was particularly kind to mum, which was greatly appreciated. There was a problem with contacting the priest which was quickly resolved by Lorraine. The ladies in the office were a great help and comfort to mum who at one point became overwhelmed during a visit to see dad. They tended to her and sat with her to make sure she was okay before she left. The care and viewing of my father was arranged perfectly. The funeral itself was planned with military precision and executed with great care. Ray showed a genuine concern for my mum on the day who was obviously struggling to cope. Everyone involved impressed us greatly. The entire process was handled with thoughtfulness and attention to every detail. Thornalleys were, and are, consummate professionals. For that we thank everyone involved.

Thornally I'd a brilliant funeral company. You are going through that heartache of loosing that loved one and all the staff are really kind caring and understanding. When planning my dad's funeral with my step-mum they were really kind and we went through the plans really carefully with no rush at all. They were always at the end of a phone or via email if you needed someone and when it came to the funeral they really looked after you. Thank you.

I am so pleased  that I chose Thornalley Funeral Services prior to my husband’s death to arrange his funeral. 
The service has been caring and considering with extremely professionalism. My husband was well looked after. 
Ray and Andrew gave a great deal of support including the calls to ensure we are okay. The day went very smoothly.
I would also would like to thank Steff for organising the funeral and choosing Verne 
the Celebrant to conduct the service.

These people are fantastic. They make the whole thing easier.and more personal. I got the person I wanted to help even though he had moved on from barely 10 months earlier.
Without these folk I would have struggles.
Whilst I hope never to have to use them again I wouldn't choose anyone else if I I am in the same place
Next time it will me me in a box hopefully Thornalley will be there
..and they know the piece of music I want.

The whole funeral proceedings were highly professional. The celebrant led a really lovely service, we couldn’t have asked more.

I cannot express my thanks enough to everyone at Thornalleys for looking after my daddy and treating him like one of their family! The care and support we received was excellent and the dedication of all the staff was outstanding! The whole team made a very sad time bearable  and I do not know how I would have coped without them! The calls to check in on my well-being every week was a lovely touch. Thank you for everything you did and for caring for my dad, treating him with respect and dignity. I will never forget the support you gave me at the most difficult time I have ever been through. Sam and Nicky made us feel very at ease during a very sad time whilst sorting out all the arrangements, and all the phone calls to see if we were doing ok was above and beyond and we are very grateful for this. They were the best!!

It was my mums funeral, I found them very caring, Nicky was great, giving me info on places that might take mums furniture etc, Sam was phoning me leading up to the big day, keeping me informed. On the day of the funeral he was talking me through everything that they were doing and what the family needed to do. It all went smoothly and I would recommend them.
