Both Nichola and Peter at Thornalley have been fantastic from first enquiry to the day of the funeral itself. From the sensitive handling of my initial call, to making it easy for me to go through the list of decisions to make, to answering any questions however small and always being available on the phone, to the very professional and gentle handling of my mum on the day of the funeral with carrying her into the chapel and touching base with me re next steps. Don't know why you'd contact anyone else in the West Norfolk area, I didn't need to.

From the moment we contacted them by phone, until Sam and the coffin bearers left us at the crematorium they were pitch perfect. The options were explained to us by Nicky who was professional, compassionate and warm. On the actual day/s at the Church/ crematorium the arrangements they had made worked faultlessly. Peter and the team at thornalleys were with us every step of the way to make a difficult time less stressful.
They were kind and informative,enabling us to shape the memorial we wanted by helping with options and making them happen for us.
In an emotional and difficult time for a family,they enabled us to grieve and not be stressed with the arrangements.

The entire process of arranging and the manner in which it was conducted was excellent. The staff were sympathetic with out being over the top. On the day every thing that was promised was delivered with dignity, and efficient courtesy.
This made a difficult situation that much easier to bear and for which the family were very grateful.

We can't fault the care and professionalism Ray and his staff gave us. The dignity and respect on the day of dad's funeral was appreciated. Andrew was extremely attentive and supportive when collecting us etc
The phone calls I received regularly from Ray keeping us updated with the arrangements and also simply to let us know he was thinking of us, meant such a lot.
Thornally together with Janet Qualters, Celebrant made a heartbreaking difficult day, bearable for us all to cope.

At an emotional and stressful time, Ray and his team proved to be an excellent support. They were professional, friendly and their attention to small details was second to none. Ray had plenty of time and frequently checked to see that our family were okay. We did not feel rushed both in decision making or indeed on the day of the funeral. We would not hesitate to recommend Thornalley funeral Services to others.
