I have so much gratitude to the company for the way they conducted my late brother’s funeral.  Every single aspect of it was simply perfect.  As a grieving family, it was so good to know that all of the stress of making the arrangements was being shouldered by the company.  Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for them.  My brother was treated as though he was a family member of the company’s family.  The funeral was exactly as we had wanted it to be, and my brother was treated with the utmost dignity.

I couldn't have chosen a better Funeral Director. Perfect in every way. The girls showed genuine interest, care and empathy, who endeavoured to ensure every preferred wish is attended to. From first point of contact to discussing, arranging a Funeral to the exact preferred detail. The stress and anxiety felt whilst arranging a custom funeral to ensure the perfect farewell for my precious family member was fulfilled. I personally couldn't have asked for more. A very professional service. I just felt blessed to have them take care of my much loved family member.

Overall, Debbie Bennett funeral directors in Prescot went above and beyond for my dad John. There was some minor issues at first which they corrected straight away. On the day of the funeral everything went perfectly. The attention to detail from the staff was so meaningful. As my dad was a massive Liverpool fan we asked for him to be taken past The Kop side of Anfield. Not only did we go past The Kop they did a big circle right the way round the whole stadium. Which meant so much to us all and is something we won’t forget. The service was beautiful and the staff were so calming and clear with us. They were also so funny which is perfect for us. 

Thank you so much to all the staff, for going above and beyond for us and our dad. For listening to our wishes and also treating us which such kindness and respect.

I have waited a while to post this review as I wanted to do it justice. Despite my stepfather having taken out two insurance policies for other funeral directors, mum decided to use Debbie Bennett as she had seen a funeral organised by them and “liked” what she had seen, but couldn’t actually say why - it was just a feeling. 

You know when they say trust your gut - well this was exactly the right decision. 

We dealt with Wendy at the Old Roan branch. From the minute we spoke on the phone to weeks after the funeral, Wendy has been an angel. 

What was a very upsetting experience has been made pleasant - I know that sounds wrong, but it’s true. 

It’s not a service Wendy offers, it’s a friendship, when a friend is needed most. Discrete, professional, and caring, funny, sad, and appropriate all at the same time. 

She even bought mum a birthday cake and her and Wendy’s husband sat with mum in the chapel of rest whilst quietly remembering her birthday - involving my stepdad. That alone made mum’s day. They got it exactly right. 

Wendy organised everything- with our approval - and everything and everyone involved couldn’t have been more helpful and caring. 

Stephen who printed the order of service, David the funeral director on the day, the drivers and pallbearers - all exceptional. 

The best way I can show how good Debbie Bennett’s is, is to let you know, both mum and I have added to our wills, our funerals are to be overseen by Wendy. 

This is a real family business. We came across three generations; Wendy, her daughter, and her grandson Ryan - all of whom had exactly the same ethos- help, support, and care. 

Again this sounds wrong - but I can honestly say “Wendy, I look forward to seeing you again” just not too soon.

Under difficult circumstances Terri-Ann and the team made us feel comfortable and supported throughout the arrangements process. Joanne and the drivers looked after us throughout the funeral and we cannot thank them enough for looking after us but more importantly my mum.
