The day my dad passed we rang Debbie Bennet and within a couple of hours they were at the house and moved my dad to his place of rest. They were kind and courteous, next day at their office in Prescot they sorted everything within an hour and took all the stress off us , everyone commented on what a classy send off he had , we owe a huge thanks to Debbie and her staff , and we would highly recommend them. We will also be taking a funeral plan with asap

What can I say?
They were fantastic since the day I contacted them.
I contacted them before the passing of my loved one as he was deteriorating fast and was given days to live.
Lois was fantastic and welcomed me and made me feel part of the family.
The day after the passing I went into their Prescot branch and Lois was able to give me an appointment for the next day.
On the day of the appointment Lois gave us all the details and adapted to us on what we wanted for our loved one.
She was able to give us all the details and the procedure to everything.
30 minutes after the appointment we had a date for the funeral to take place.
During the process to bring the loved one at their branch it was easy and they adapted to us to go and see our loved one and different times during the day.
On the day of the funeral it was so perfect, the drivers and care takers were amazing, they made us feel at ease.
The service cards and memory cards were amazing and we loved it.
The service was amazing, the speaker was amazing and we could at not done anymore to make our loved one proud.
I would recommend them 100% they done us proud and made us feel welcome and at ease.

During this very difficult and awful time it was comforting to know that my partners funeral was being taken care of by some very caring and sensitive professionals. Debbie bennetts funeral directors at the old roan have an amazing pair of ladies called Wendy & Sue who every step of the way made this very challenging time a little easier to cope
with and a lot less stressful than it would have been.
From the start to the actually funeral it went as well as possible at this incredibly difficult time and followed our wishes to the letter making it a special day for our loved one.

Debbie Bennett Funeral Directors in Prescot  were excellent. . All the staff were kind, compassionate and understanding. From the moment we first rang for help the service provided was professional and faultless. They guided us every step of the way with excellent communication, clear information and quick responses to our questions. They paid attention to detail and were thoughtful in every way, even the music playing in their chapel of rest. The staff  made such a daunting and difficult time so much easier. Debbie Bennett’s have been fantastic with both of my parents funeral. They are kind and compassionate and provide excellent care both before and after the funeral. Gemma was our funeral director on both occasions and she was so lovely and professional and really looked after us on the day . I would highly recommend their services.

We cannot thank Wendy & the team at Debbie Bennett Funeral Directors, Old Roan enough for their care, compassion & professionalism when our mum, Kathleen Dilks passed away in June 2025. From first contact with Wendy, the whole process was handled with dignity, respect & kindness. Even the smallest detail was no trouble, going above & beyond at every stage. The Chapel of Rest room, comforting in every detail, just perfect. The service was beautiful reflecting our mum. Every detail even down to mum’s favourite colour lilac, so touching & thoughtful that the funeral director & funeral bearers even wore lilac ties. From the middle of the night call at the nursing home, thru the face-2-face family initial meeting, to visiting the chapel, the day of the funeral & drivers, & finally picking up the ashes, the staff have been nothing but warm yet professional, supporting & guiding us thru this sad & tricky process. Outstanding service. & by far the most competitive cost-wise when comparing with previous family funerals.
