From the very 1st phone call we as a family were looked after really well …we felt confident leaving Allan in their care as we knew they would look after him .The day of the funeral everything ran smoothly mainly thanks to the compassion and empathy of those looking after us

From the minute I walked through the door the staff could not have been more helpful, empathetic and professional all in equal measure. They made a very difficult time much easier for me with their compassion and expertise. Seeing my mother look so beautiful and at rest in their chapel was a massive comfort and I can't praise the people involved in that enough. I can honestly say myself and my family would never use anybody else when it comes to arranging future funerals as we felt the whole process was made so stress free for us but also allowed us to have input on every aspect of the planning. The whole team are a credit to themselves and their profession.

Debbie and all the staff at Bennett Funeral Directors were exceptional throughout the funeral arrangements for my dad, Martin Kelly. During a very difficult and emotional time, they treated us with kindness, compassion, dignity and respect.




Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they guided us through every step with professionalism and care. They made sure my dad received the send-off he deserved and helped make a heartbreaking time a little easier for our family.

Following a sudden death in the family we needed a funeral director and after my previous experience with Debbie Bennett I wouldn't have dreamed of going anywhere else.
As I've mentioned in a previous review, we used a well known funeral director in the area for many years but a bad experience meant we'd never go back.

Again, on this occasion I couldn't fault anything.
Lois in the office, Kate the funeral director and the lads on the day were all fantastic.
Everyone was polite, kind and most importantly, knowledgable.
I was kept up to date on everything and they did everything they said they would.
Our lovely uncle Ernie looked so peaceful when we went in to see him and he looked just the same when he was brought home even though by then it had been a few weeks since he passed away.

If you need an honest local funeral director who are committed to the very highest of standards then you need look no further.
So lucky to have them on our doorstep.

This is a true family business in every sense of the term. The entire team works as if part of this family. From the moment they brought our loved one into their care to the day of the funeral itself, they looked after her like one of their own, in a caring, gentle and respectful way. Throughout the whole process, they set themselves extremely high standards and stick to them consistently. Everyone in the office (Sophie, Alison, Lois, Kate, Gemma) was professional, friendly, efficient and their communication was first class. On the day of the funeral, everyone was booted and suited to military standards, and the team and the fleet looked spotless. The gentlemen (David, Keith, Chris S, and Craig W) were respectful and helpful, and know their jobs so well that everything happens smoothly, quietly and efficiently. There is so much combined experience here that you will struggle to find a better company to take care of your loved one. They will take the weight from you as you make all of the arrangements and will carry out your wishes to the letter. They are not part of a large faceless organisation, they are entirely independent. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Debbie and her family and team are a credit to the profession. We as a family thank them wholeheartedly for the way they treated us, our loved one, and for their outstanding service.
