Debbie Bennett's Old Roan were absolutely amazing and we couldn't have wished for a better service. From beginning to end, everything was faultless, which is exactly what you hope for at such a sad time.

On the day of the funeral, Carl and the drivers were extremely smart and professional, adding touches of respect that everybody commented on.

Massive thanks go to Wendy, a lovely lady who co-ordinated everything with a genuine warmth and helpfulness that's exceptional nowadays. Nothing was too much trouble for her.

Overall, we truly couldn't be more satisfied and would wholeheartedly recommend them.

I came to DBFD to look for the best funeral plan for my dad I was greeted by the lovely Wendy who gave me the best advice in choosing the plan we was looking for. Sadly my dad passed away the following week I went to see Wendy to let her know he had passed and the level of her going above and beyond was unbelievable she could not do enough for me and my family calling me up asking how I was doing even popping in to have a little chat was never a big deal she would take the time to make me a cuppa and have a little talk. Even opening up early so I could come see my dad before I went to work.

On the day of the funeral everything went perfect thank you Gemma.

I can’t thank the team enough for the exceptional care and compassion they provided throughout the process of arranging my dad’s funeral. Wendy, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect and every wish was honored. From the beginning, she handled all of our needs with such attentiveness and patience, making what could have been a stressful time feel manageable and even comforting.

Wendy arranged for me to visit my dad early in the chapel, allowing me the precious time I needed, which meant so much. Her warm presence and dedication to honoring him helped bring a sense of peace and reassurance, knowing he was in such caring hands. She treated him with dignity, played his favorite songs, and created an atmosphere that felt truly personal and respectful. Wendy’s thoughtful nature and natural ability to make people feel at ease were exactly what I needed; she made the entire experience as smooth and comforting as possible.


I’m deeply grateful to Wendy and the entire team for their kindness, professionalism, and the genuine respect they showed my dad.

Additionally, Gemma served as the funeral director on the day, ensuring that every moment ran seamlessly. Thanks to her careful attention to detail, the service flowed beautifully, creating a warm and personal atmosphere. Many attendees expressed that it was the most heartfelt and thoughtfully arranged funeral they had ever experienced.
