Obviously a very upsetting and distressing experience to ever go through planning my young husband’s funeral but I cannot thank Stonemans enough, especially Michael. He made the whole experience calming, was so helpful, accommodating and supportive. Both myself and immediate family cannot thank him enough for making sure my husbands own experience with them was respectful and caring.  A real gentleman

A funeral is a very daunting thing to arrange for a loved one. Emma, our funeral arranger at Stoneman's has been the most caring, compassionate and kind lady that you could ever ask for. Emma and her colleagues have shown nothing but respect and dignity for my lovely Mum in their care. Nothing was too much trouble. There has been tears, endless cups of coffee, tissues, and chats and everything was made so easy by them so that I could grieve and not have to worry about the funeral. A funeral director is not someone that anyone wants to use, but one day we will all have to and I cannot recommend Stoneman's in Redhill more highly than I do. Grieving is hard enough without the worry of a funeral to arrange but Emma and her colleagues made it as easy as it could be, and they went above and beyond to make our grieving process as peaceful as it could possibly be.

Kate was very attentive as she was for my father’s funeral a few months ago. The whole team dealt with my sadness with the upmost respect. I felt like nothing was too much trouble, even carrying my parents’ coffins myself. Kate recommended an amazing celebrant, Soozi Leeves, for both occasions. She was so professional and thoughtful. My friends believed she actually knew my parents when talking about them. Both funerals were obviously sad occasions but the lovely crew at Stonemans made the days comical and enjoyable. One elderly lady told me that this funeral was the best she’d ever been to. And at 93, she’d been to lots!

From the initial contact through to the actual service Stoneman's handling of things was exemplary. We felt supported, advised and in control which was due in the main to their celebrant Beaulieu-Taylor Harris. She always consulted us without rushing us into making decisions and made time to make sure we were happy with how things were going. The actual service was conducted with real calm professionalism and made what was obviously an emotional time seem peaceful and calm.
We would recommend Stonemans.

I would to say a huge thank you to Stoneman's in Crawley Down. My Father passed away a couple of weeks ago and like many people, I have never organized a funeral. I felt completely overwhelmed and was emotionally drained. I knew my first point of call was to ring the Funeral Directors in Crawley Down. We met Michael on our first visit and he went through every single step that needed to be covered, it felt like some one was holding my hand and helping me through every emotional decision, I had to face, from the service itself to ideas of where to have the wake. We were in communications every day and it was never a problem if I just rang to ask what I thought "might be a silly question" The Stoneman Family are truly a wonderful bunch of people, who really do care and will be with you every step of the way, at such a sad and difficult time. Many thanks again too Michael and your team!
