Amazing and impeccable service from start to finish with extra special shout out to Grace who made the whole process leading up to the day as painless as possible with all the planning and to Brian who made the day run so smoothly and guided us so efficiently, with empathy with the process on the day.

Grace was amazing throughout the whole process even from the initial first meeting. She was always on hand to answer any phone calls or emails. Grace made the whole experience so much easier at such a difficult time. The actual funeral was amazingly done and the whole team were amazing, especially Will the funeral director. Thank you for a very professional service. We felt the process of organising the funeral was not stressful thanks to your experienced and caring staff. All went well on the day (19 March) and staff were excellent with the right level of empathy and respect. The cars arrived in pristine condition and on time.

However, there was some lack of communication. Firstly, we were not advised when our father was transferred from the hospital to the Redhill site and had to follow this up. Secondly, when we met with Stoneman on 1 March to discuss funeral arrangements and again on 8 March to hand over clothing, there was no mention that the person we were dealing with at Stoneman would be on leave for the next couple of weeks. This was surprising since we had been invited to call them at any time prior to the funeral. It would have been nice to have been informed of this and meet the person standing in. In addition, the expected letter detailing funeral arrangements did not arrive until 14 March. On contacting Stoneman, another staff member kindly emailed a copy of the letter with attachments to us.

Wouldn't recommend this funeral home to anyone. Rude vicar, incompetent funeral director. Made a terrible time 100 times worse.

After 53year of marriage to a wonderful woman I wanted to have the very best send of on her last journey..from contact with Grace (nothing was to much trouble) a total professional attitude then the day arrived Wil introduced himself and then everything seemed to go so smoothly

Our sincere thanks to Stoneman, and particularly Val, for the kindness, guidance and support given to our family throughout this immensely sad time.  Dad's funeral was everything we had hoped it would be.  He would have been very pleased with the send off we gave him, and that has given us great comfort in the weeks since. I'm pleased we recorded the funeral service as my mum watches it regularly, feeling the love with which it was delivered.
