Established in 1865, Stoneman Funeral Service is a sixth generation family funeral directors based in Redhill, Surrey, serving bereaved families during their time of need. Chris Stoneman is the current managing director of the company. His daughter, Mollie, is a funeral arranger and director, while his nephew, William, is a driver and bearer.

Whether your loved one wanted a traditional religious funeral or a contemporary celebration of life, Stoneman Funeral Service can help you plan the perfect farewell. You can choose from a range of coffins, including traditional hardwood, cardboard, wicker and bespoke designs. They also have a fleet of Jaguar hearses and limousines with matching number plates which, along with immaculate premises, staff and caring funeral directors make Stoneman Funeral Service a trusted provider of funerals in the Redhill area.

The service our family received from Stoneman Funeral Service was exemplary, there was nothing which could have been done better. Due to a Coroner’s Inquest there was a long delay until my father’s body was able to be released to the family, yet even throughout that period of time we were supported and kept updated by the staff at Stoneman’s. Then during the planning of the funeral itself the attention to detail and the warmth and support we were shown at every stage of the journey was amazing. Julia was always available to speak to me and nothing was too much trouble. Her natural warmth, kindness and empathy shone though. On the day of the funeral Chris and the pall bearers showed such gentleness and respect and utter professionalism. A faultless service all round. My father was afforded the most beautiful “send off” and the family will forever cherish the memories of the day. Our most sincere thanks to all the staff for looking after us so perfectly at such a difficult time.

The whole team were exceptional . From the start , arranging the funeral with Emma and the completion with Will and his team , made an extremely difficult funeral more bearable.
