It was so important to me to make it perfect in every way possible for him and you made my wish achievable.
You worked so hard with all my requests and most importantly of all, you looked after my precious dad for me whilst he was in your care. There is absolutely no one I would have rather taken care of him for me.
All in all, you made organising my dads funeral as stress free as at all possible. You were so kind and knowledgeable about absolutely everything! You have been a real help to me throughout this whole horrendously sad time.
You all achieved the farewell I wanted for my dad and delivered him so seamlessly to his final resting place.
I will be eternally grateful to you all for coordinating this very important day for my dad and myself. It was so perfect.

Thank you so much to Russell and Kirby, from Wollaton, for the organisation of my Father’s funeral. My family and I have been overwhelmed by the compassion and professionalism shown to us during a very sad time. It was appreciated very much. Also, thank you to Malcolm, the celebrant, who spoke of my Father as if he knew of him personally.
The Wollaton branch originally belonged to the Ilkeston Co-op Funeral Service before being incorporated into the A W Lymn group in 2003. The funeral home was formerly based on Arleston Drive in Wollaton, but was moved in late July 2014 to a purposed designed site on Wollaton Road called Deer Park House.
The new premises has off-street car parking and a beautiful visitation room with its own private waiting area.
The office was formerly a police station and features a large, bright, modern client reception, as well as state-of-the-art rooms.
The office is run by Funeral Director Kirby Cranshaw with the help of Funeral Arranger Sky O’Neill.
The funeral home is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm. You can also make an appointment to see someone after hours via the telephone number.
The branch covers all of Wollaton and its surroundings including Bilborough, Bramcote, Nuthall, Strelley, Trowell, Watnall and beyond.
A.W.Lymn The Family Funeral Service is managed and owned by the Lymn Rose family. Nigel, Jackie and Matthew Lymn Rose are the directors of the company.

I felt very comfortable discussing issues and raising any questions with Kirby at the Wollaton Office. Her manner was lovely. When she was not there her colleagues also provided an excellent service. The opportunity to have the service streamed and then a recording on the obituary page were much appreciated. The Covid safety measures were good.
It was very much appreciated that Nigel found time to be there for us at the chapel.

What can I say. Kirby at the Wollaton office is amazing she is so professional friendly and caring. Without her knowledge and caring way we would not have been able to have the service we wanted for Beryl nothing was too much trouble and we were kept informed all the way. Beryl is being buried in Stockport which is a long way from Nottingham and we thought it would be a lot of organising we needn't have worried Kirby did everything for us and we thank her so much. I have used this funeral directors for my own parents and have found them to delver exceptional service before and after the funeral. I would go to no other funeral directors

During Lockdown arrangements for the funeral were made via phone and email but still I felt there was someone ‘holding my hand’ and guiding me through every step. Julia, at Wollaton, was patient and supportive and the service was perfect.

AW Lymn (Wollaton) have been warm, friendly, respectful and easy to deal with from the start. Alan and Julia were helpful, kind and professional following the loss of our beloved Heather. With the current crisis over everyone, nothing was ever too much trouble and we were able to give Heather the send-off she would have wanted and deserved. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to deal with someone else's loved one.

The team in the Wollaton branch worked really hard to help me give my Mum the best send-off possible, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, for which I will be forever grateful.
They offered me advice, support and comfort at one of the most difficult times in my life in a professional but personal manner. The staff provided me with compassion and time when I struggled to make decisions or got confused about things due to my extreme tiredness, and endeavoured to satisfy all my requests.
I felt my Mum’s physical being was treated with dignity, respect and loving care. I felt she was safe with them and I trusted them with her. When I went to visit my Mum in the chapel of rest there was an overwhelming sense of peace in the room.
The only reason I haven’t selected ‘Excellent’ was due to very last minute (as in within the 2 hours prior to the hearse arriving at my Mum’s bungalow) telephone calls regarding the length of the funeral service and me having to choose what to omit from the order of service in case we ran out of time. There was also a last minute notification that I would be unable to witness the charging of the coffin - but was then fortunate enough to actually be able to do this anyway.
Overall I would highly recommend A.W.Lymn and would like to thank them for everything they have done for me and my Mum. I will be using them again for my Mum’s memorial service when the COVID-19 pandemic is over.

But trying to organise a funeral Due to the outbreak of The Coronavirus was was difficult and only added to our grief
