We were very pleased with the care and support provided throughput. Julia was first class.
The Wollaton branch originally belonged to the Ilkeston Co-op Funeral Service before being incorporated into the A W Lymn group in 2003. The funeral home was formerly based on Arleston Drive in Wollaton, but was moved in late July 2014 to a purposed designed site on Wollaton Road called Deer Park House.
The new premises has off-street car parking and a beautiful visitation room with its own private waiting area.
The office was formerly a police station and features a large, bright, modern client reception, as well as state-of-the-art rooms.
The office is run by Funeral Director Kirby Cranshaw with the help of Funeral Arranger Sky O’Neill.
The funeral home is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm. You can also make an appointment to see someone after hours via the telephone number.
The branch covers all of Wollaton and its surroundings including Bilborough, Bramcote, Nuthall, Strelley, Trowell, Watnall and beyond.
A.W.Lymn The Family Funeral Service is managed and owned by the Lymn Rose family. Nigel, Jackie and Matthew Lymn Rose are the directors of the company.

Nicola and the team at Wollaton were exceptionally helpful, empathetic and kind in all they did for our family at all times during the organising of the funeral. On the day Julie or Jules ensured the family were comfortable and directed the event in a professional but friendly manner. It all went very smoothly and so my sister had a very good send off which was important to us.

It was an incredibly difficult time for us as a family.Jackie managed everything sensitively and professionally from Family viewing at the funeral home, funeral service and and the release of white doves at the crematorium.
A coffin that was specially made within a short time was impeccable. If there is any comfort or solace from our huge loss, it would be that LYMN’s funeral service played a major role in our daughters final journey to enable us to cherish our daughters fond memories.

From the time the gentlemen came to collect Rex ,from the initial interview and the arrangement chat with Jane we were treated with respect ,care and consideration.All went according to plan on the day. We were collected on time and in spite of the number of people attending at the crematorium we managed to reach the. church in time for the Thanksgiving Service, which was memorable and very special, attended by over two hundred people- a tribute to Rex.Thank you for your help on what might have been a difficult day. Unfortunately Joes funeral was our 3rd in as many years, all through the Wollaton branch where the staff were very helpful and efficient in organising and meeting our family needs.
