In loving memory of Alice Patricia Joyce who sadly passed away on 26th April 2026, aged 93.
Alice Patricia Joyce spent the first sixteen years of her life in Ireland, but it was Nottingham, England, that was to become her home. She relinquished her nursing ambitions to marry and raise a family with fellow Irishman, Dr. Toby Joyce. Throughout, her children, Paul, Declan, and Melanie, were her primary focus, supporting them as they pursued higher education and careers in the arts. Following her husband’s death, she returned to work, achieving a high status within the NHS as a gifted and respected nurse specialising in the care of the elderly.
Her passions were baking, flower arranging, and music.
