A.W. Lymn Wollaton branch has provided a excellent service to us. They were very welcoming and became part of our family, sharing our feelings and thoughts. Kirby went out of her way to ensure all our late fathers wishes were met. The staff looked after our tiniest needs and requests. They even looked after my son while we peacefully performed our rituals at their branch. I can't thank them enough they have really helped us ensure the funeral went smoothly and peacefully. Thank you very much Kirby and Team.

The Wollaton branch originally belonged to the Ilkeston Co-op Funeral Service before being incorporated into the A W Lymn group in 2003. The funeral home was formerly based on Arleston Drive in Wollaton, but was moved in late July 2014 to a purposed designed site on Wollaton Road called Deer Park House.
The new premises has off-street car parking and a beautiful visitation room with its own private waiting area.
The office was formerly a police station and features a large, bright, modern client reception, as well as state-of-the-art rooms.
The office is run by Funeral Director Kirby Cranshaw with the help of Funeral Arranger Sky O’Neill.
The funeral home is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm. You can also make an appointment to see someone after hours via the telephone number.
The branch covers all of Wollaton and its surroundings including Bilborough, Bramcote, Nuthall, Strelley, Trowell, Watnall and beyond.
A.W.Lymn The Family Funeral Service is managed and owned by the Lymn Rose family. Nigel, Jackie and Matthew Lymn Rose are the directors of the company.

A W Lymn handled our mother's funeral with complete professionalism and courtesy. The ever helpful Kirby at the Wollaton office was extremely organised and efficient, taking all our requests (and changes of mind) in her stride. We felt the service went off perfectly and was a fitting tribute to our mother.

A W Lymn's service was in every way excellent nothing was too much trouble and they did everything in their power to make a difficult situation as comfortable and easy as possible. I would certainly recommend their services to anybody in the future. They might not be the cheapest funeral service but they are certainly the best.

From the very first phone call I was confident I had chosen the right people to look after my dear wife and that proved to be the case. I had carefully planned what I wanted and Kirby and Julia made sure that everything was executed perfectly. A truly professional service delivered with care and empathy. The online obituary facility along with the online viewing of the service were used and appreciated by a large number of friends and family, truly excellent additions to the overall service provided. From the initial contact with Lymn’s funeral services I cannot stress how helpful especially Kirby has been dealing with our sad loss. Nothing was too much trouble. Kirby and the team handled the arrangements with kindness and compassion under difficult circumstances brought on by Covid. Despite this setback, they were willing and able to help us achieve a beautiful service for Dad; often going the extra mile. Everybody at A W Lymn's was kind, thoughtful and very caring.
Our requests was no trouble at all for them and they helped me give my mother a perfect send off.
They talked and helped us through it all and made a very upsetting time a whole lot easier for all of us.

Kirby was professional in every way and carried out her duties perfectly.
She was with me every step of the way on one of the saddest days of my life.
She also showed great empathy and encouraged me every along the way and said she was proud of how I had read the poem and dealt with the pressure of the day.
