I can’t thank A. W. Lymn enough for their help during a difficult time, they were excellent from start to finish.
Nothing was too much trouble and they made a difficult day go smoothly.
The funeral itself was very dignified, carried out with professionalism and sympathy.
I’d like to pass on thanks and gratitude from my all the family for giving my late father - Edward Shotton - a lovely send off.
St. Albans House in Arnold was opened in 1996 by Alison Maddaford in her capacity as President of the National Association of Funeral Directors. The funeral home underwent an extension in late 2012 and was fully refurbished in 2023 to provide modern, comfortable facilities for families.
Led by Funeral Director Russell Kemp, who possesses extensive knowledge of Arnold’s community churches and customs, the funeral home is supported by Funeral Arranger Jessica Raynor and Receptionists/Administrator Beryl Spencer. Together, they offer compassionate and professional funeral services tailored to each family's needs.
St. Albans House provides a range of facilities to ensure dignified and respectful arrangements:

- A welcoming reception area with two private reception rooms
- Three visitation rooms, including a suite with an adjoining private space for families
- Cold room facilities for preservation

Everything went very smoothly on the day.We had help from Beryl,Ellie,and Russel from the planning to the day of the funeral.They went out of their way so Gloria could go past her old address at 162, Mansfield Road,where she lived when I met her.We would also like to thank the Celebrant Keith Brown for his help sorting the order of service and and the way it was conducted on the day.

At a difficult time the Team at Lymns were sensitive and helpful. They listened and provided an excellent funeral according to my Fathers wishes. Excellent all round service. Celebrant Vicky Corder the best that one could wish for. Beautiful flowers, fantastic hearse and car. Staff were attentive and caring. Crematorium lovely and peaceful, music and visual display just what I ordered. Thank you for all you have done.
