St. Albans House in Arnold was opened in 1996 by Alison Maddaford in her capacity as President of the National Association of Funeral Directors. The funeral home underwent an extension in late 2012 and was fully refurbished in 2023 to provide modern, comfortable facilities for families.
Led by Funeral Director Russell Kemp, who possesses extensive knowledge of Arnold’s community churches and customs, the funeral home is supported by Funeral Arranger Jessica Raynor and Receptionists/Administrator Beryl Spencer. Together, they offer compassionate and professional funeral services tailored to each family's needs.
St. Albans House provides a range of facilities to ensure dignified and respectful arrangements:

Well organised, pleasant efficient people to deal with. Unfortunately there was a cock-up with one of the pieces of music in the service which was not the fault of the funeral directors. Only other criticism of the funeral was that the sound quality at the Gedling Crematory was poor (which was my choice of venue)

Everything had to be done remotely because of covid and as I live 75 miles from Nottingham, but all your staff were kind, efficient and helpful, both making the arrangements beforehand and on the day itself.

I am really happy with the services from A W Lynn. All dealt with me compassionately and with great care at what was a very difficult time. Never having to have dealt with a funeral before Emma talked me through everything involved from registering the death, ensuring my mum was looked after at the funeral parlour, requirements for the cremation, choosing the Celebrant and sorting out the charity donations which we had instead of flowers. She was with me every step of the way and couldn't have been more caring and helpful. Mark, who looked after us at the service and the bearers were so good and very respectful. The Celebrant who was chosen for me was so kind and considerate and brilliant with my dad who was obviously in great distress at losing is wife of 62 years.
All in all they made a dreadful day so much more bearable. Thank you.

Your celebrant Malcom conducted an excellent service, capturing my husband perfectly.
