We as a family cannot fault the way we were treated with both my mother's funeral back in 2002, and then more recently with my father's funeral. Right from the beginning they acted very professionally but at the same time sympathetic...nothing was too much trouble...we were never rushed, we were given plenty of time deciding on what we wanted and we felt that our loss was theirs. Although there was sadness on the actual funeral day, there was also tears of joy just because of the way we were treated.

The office, known as The Old Farm, is located in one of the oldest buildings in Mansfield Woodhouse, a former farmhouse that has recently been completely refurbished. It is set in lovely rural surroundings and has a beautiful service chapel, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, washing facilities for specific funeral rites, plenty of parking and a full fleet of hearse and limousines.
Cyril Welsh Funeral Directors, who previously had offices at the premises, was incorporated by the A W Lymn group. The branch has most of the north Nottingham fleet on site, including a Rolls-Royce Phantom VII hearse and matching limousines.
Jonathan Baker is the area manager, and the office is staffed by funeral directors Andy Askew and Stacey Burman who are assisted by funeral arranger and administrator Emma Hind, who will be more than pleased to assist you during office hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
If you need assistance outside of these hours, please call the telephone number at any time and the office can be opened for you at your convenience.
The branch serves all of Mansfield Woodhouse and its surrounding area including Berry Hill, Blidworth, Church Warsop, Clipstone, Forest Town, Harlow Wood, Ladybrook, Mansfield, Pleasley, Rainworth, Ravenshead, Shirebrook, Warsop, Warsop Vale and beyond.

Can't fault them very very helpful and understanding nothing too much trouble when changing things about through family wanting different things from the initial plan ..The actual funeral was and went better than expected ..used for my dad 18 yrs ago ..My mother would of loved it under different circumstances they did everything she and us wanted no questions highly recommend

At this the saddest time of our lives, A W Lynn were professional caring and listened to everything we asked for.

The support, guidance, compassion and professionalism are fantastic. During the difficult time of losing my husband the service and funeral was exactly what he would have wanted. Small attention to detail from Lymns made the experience rememberable.
