About Us
The office, known as The Old Farm, is located in one of the oldest buildings in Mansfield Woodhouse, a former farmhouse that has recently been completely refurbished. It is set in lovely rural surroundings and has a beautiful service chapel, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, washing facilities for specific funeral rites, plenty of parking and a full fleet of hearse and limousines.
Cyril Welsh Funeral Directors, who previously had offices at the premises, was incorporated by the A W Lymn group. The branch has most of the north Nottingham fleet on site, including a Rolls-Royce Phantom VII hearse and matching limousines.
Jonathan Baker is the area manager, and the office is staffed by funeral directors Andy Askew and Stacey Burman who are assisted by funeral arranger and administrator Emma Hind, who will be more than pleased to assist you during office hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
If you need assistance outside of these hours, please call the telephone number at any time and the office can be opened for you at your convenience.
The branch serves all of Mansfield Woodhouse and its surrounding area including Berry Hill, Blidworth, Church Warsop, Clipstone, Forest Town, Harlow Wood, Ladybrook, Mansfield, Pleasley, Rainworth, Ravenshead, Shirebrook, Warsop, Warsop Vale and beyond.

They went above and beyond to make the day go smoothly and our wishes were listened to and carried out fully. From your 24/7 phone line availableto the pall bearers, drivers etc.all wearing pink ties to an unexpected poem that was read to my small grandson after the service by Jonathan saying how is daddy will always be with him and at all times it was done with pure respect for my son and his loved ones he left behind. It's the little things that count to make you feel yours is the most important funeral they have. Thankyou to all of you, Wendy, Stacy,Jonathan, the drivers and those we never met. My mums funeral service was carried out in the most professional manner. We didn’t have to think about anything as Lymns paid great detail to all aspects and nothing was too much trouble. They really ensured that I had nothing to worry about and the day went without a hitch. Happy to recommend them.

I would like to say a Big Thank You to all the Staff that were involved in all aspects of our Dearest and much Loved Daughter Lyndsey Anne Allen , from our first meeting with Wendy who was very thoughtful and professional with us in our very fragile and sensitive state of mind , and from that point on the people we met were equally understanding, helpful and most of all professional, which on the day of the Funeral resulted in our Daughter having a send off fit for a Princess.
