The office, known as The Old Farm, is located in one of the oldest buildings in Mansfield Woodhouse, a former farmhouse that has recently been completely refurbished. It is set in lovely rural surroundings and has a beautiful service chapel, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, washing facilities for specific funeral rites, plenty of parking and a full fleet of hearse and limousines.
Cyril Welsh Funeral Directors, who previously had offices at the premises, was incorporated by the A W Lymn group. The branch has most of the north Nottingham fleet on site, including a Rolls-Royce Phantom VII hearse and matching limousines.
Jonathan Baker is the area manager, and the office is staffed by funeral directors Andy Askew and Stacey Burman who are assisted by funeral arranger and administrator Emma Hind, who will be more than pleased to assist you during office hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
If you need assistance outside of these hours, please call the telephone number at any time and the office can be opened for you at your convenience.
The branch serves all of Mansfield Woodhouse and its surrounding area including Berry Hill, Blidworth, Church Warsop, Clipstone, Forest Town, Harlow Wood, Ladybrook, Mansfield, Pleasley, Rainworth, Ravenshead, Shirebrook, Warsop, Warsop Vale and beyond.

A.W.Lymn, Mansfield Woodhouse provided outstanding service during a very difficult time and made everything more bearable.
From the moment we walked in, we felt reassured and relieved that our son was in safe hands all our wishes and needs for arranging his funeral would be well taken care of. Wendy was professional but also friendly and explained everything very clearly.
All the staff we spoke to on the phone or those we met in person, Wendy, Stacey, Andy were extremely helpful and supportive. We appreciated the attention to detail and diligence in ensuring that everything was perfect.
The service was conducted by their civil celebrant Colum. As tough as the day was the service was perfect. The way he was able to express our son’s personality, character and the massive impact on everyone he met was beautiful. So many people spoke to us afterwards and said it was the best service they had ever been to.

The tribute to Marc in the Chad was wonderful, and the turnout and respectful applause as the cortege paused in Mansfield Market Square was a special moment. Dave's funeral was very personal ,he enjoyed his allotment, breeding birds & worked unloading lorries,this is why we hired the truck, had veg wreaths instead of flower. From the moment Dave was taken from home by AWLymn is knew Dave was in safe hands, we met Stacey to arrange the funeral & she was very knowledgeable but sympathetic. Johnathon was fabulous on the day, he was respectful, professional & friendly. Losing someone close is very hard for everyone involved but AWLymn made it so easy & undaunting. This is the first funeral I have had to organise & I was anxious but there was no need to be ,everything was perfect.
