The office, known as The Old Farm, is located in one of the oldest buildings in Mansfield Woodhouse, a former farmhouse that has recently been completely refurbished. It is set in lovely rural surroundings and has a beautiful service chapel, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, washing facilities for specific funeral rites, plenty of parking and a full fleet of hearse and limousines.
Cyril Welsh Funeral Directors, who previously had offices at the premises, was incorporated by the A W Lymn group. The branch has most of the north Nottingham fleet on site, including a Rolls-Royce Phantom VII hearse and matching limousines.
Jonathan Baker is the area manager, and the office is staffed by funeral directors Andy Askew and Stacey Burman who are assisted by funeral arranger and administrator Emma Hind, who will be more than pleased to assist you during office hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
If you need assistance outside of these hours, please call the telephone number at any time and the office can be opened for you at your convenience.
The branch serves all of Mansfield Woodhouse and its surrounding area including Berry Hill, Blidworth, Church Warsop, Clipstone, Forest Town, Harlow Wood, Ladybrook, Mansfield, Pleasley, Rainworth, Ravenshead, Shirebrook, Warsop, Warsop Vale and beyond.

It was my pleasure taking care of you and so lovely taking time to talk about all of Marjorie's quirks (she sounded like quite a character). It was a humour filled service conducted by Katie Page, including a visual tribute, canvas on easel, photo of the coffin and a replica hand flipping the bird to the family and friends attending! The service provided for my dear mother was incredible. The day went smoothly, blending professionalism with warmth. Nothing was too much trouble. They patiently showed our boys how to carry their matriarch into the church.
Before the funeral, they worked with me every step of the way, addressing my wishes and guiding me for my own sake and peace of mind. It truly was a wonderful service and a beautiful day.

Sadly this was the second funeral we had to arrange in less than a year, my partner passing unexpectedly in April 2025. There was no question we would be using A W Lymn's at Mansfield Woodhouse for the funeral. Stacey, Jonathan and all the team members I met were kind and supportive throughout. They exude a unique blend of professionalism and empathy at all times. They take care of all the arrangements making a stressful and difficult time easier to bear. The kindness and consideration they gave to me while visiting my beloved partner in the chapel of rest will stay with me forever. The dignity and respect they offer is outstanding.
