Reminder calls and emails of ongoing communication were outstanding with only a 2-week turnaround to meet our request and hold the funeral before Christmas.

Stacey and the staff at A W Lynn, provided an excellent service during a very difficult time. They were very considerate, professional and supportive.
The office, known as The Old Farm, is located in one of the oldest buildings in Mansfield Woodhouse, a former farmhouse that has recently been completely refurbished. It is set in lovely rural surroundings and has a beautiful service chapel, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, washing facilities for specific funeral rites, plenty of parking and a full fleet of hearse and limousines.
Cyril Welsh Funeral Directors, who previously had offices at the premises, was incorporated by the A W Lymn group. The branch has most of the north Nottingham fleet on site, including a Rolls-Royce Phantom VII hearse and matching limousines.
Jonathan Baker is the area manager, and the office is staffed by funeral directors Andy Askew and Stacey Burman who are assisted by funeral arranger and administrator Emma Hind, who will be more than pleased to assist you during office hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
If you need assistance outside of these hours, please call the telephone number at any time and the office can be opened for you at your convenience.
The branch serves all of Mansfield Woodhouse and its surrounding area including Berry Hill, Blidworth, Church Warsop, Clipstone, Forest Town, Harlow Wood, Ladybrook, Mansfield, Pleasley, Rainworth, Ravenshead, Shirebrook, Warsop, Warsop Vale and beyond.

Stacey was unbelievably good with the funeral arrangements and so very helpful.
It didn’t end there, on the day of the funeral when she walked in front of the hearse she was so professional I was proud to have her leading my wife on her final journey.

It was my pleasure taking care of you and so lovely taking time to talk about all of Marjorie's quirks (she sounded like quite a character). It was a humour filled service conducted by Katie Page, including a visual tribute, canvas on easel, photo of the coffin and a replica hand flipping the bird to the family and friends attending! It was very much a celebration of her life, including her little companion (dog) being in attendance on the day. Thank you, Stacey.

The service provided for my dear mother was incredible. The day went smoothly, blending professionalism with warmth. Nothing was too much trouble. They patiently showed our boys how to carry their matriarch into the church.
Before the funeral, they worked with me every step of the way, addressing my wishes and guiding me for my own sake and peace of mind. It truly was a wonderful service and a beautiful day.
