The office, known as The Old Farm, is located in one of the oldest buildings in Mansfield Woodhouse, a former farmhouse that has recently been completely refurbished. It is set in lovely rural surroundings and has a beautiful service chapel, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, washing facilities for specific funeral rites, plenty of parking and a full fleet of hearse and limousines.
Cyril Welsh Funeral Directors, who previously had offices at the premises, was incorporated by the A W Lymn group. The branch has most of the north Nottingham fleet on site, including a Rolls-Royce Phantom VII hearse and matching limousines.
Jonathan Baker is the area manager, and the office is staffed by funeral directors Andy Askew and Stacey Burman who are assisted by funeral arranger and administrator Emma Hind, who will be more than pleased to assist you during office hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
If you need assistance outside of these hours, please call the telephone number at any time and the office can be opened for you at your convenience.
The branch serves all of Mansfield Woodhouse and its surrounding area including Berry Hill, Blidworth, Church Warsop, Clipstone, Forest Town, Harlow Wood, Ladybrook, Mansfield, Pleasley, Rainworth, Ravenshead, Shirebrook, Warsop, Warsop Vale and beyond.

The entire team were excellent, with special mention to Jonathon Baker who was the ultimate professional; compassionate, courteous and highly competent. He guided us through the arrangements and managed the day, which went without a hitch.

The service overall was outstanding!
Jonathan at Mansfield Woodhouse was so professional and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble.
The staff went out of their way to ensure everything was just how we wanted it. Would highly recommend.

Can’t praise them enough. Everyone so kind and helpful and reassuring. Jonathan is so professional and caring he makes you feel so safe. Jonathan looked after us like we were his own family. This is the 4th time we have used A.W.Lymn for mine and my husbands parents and we would not even think of using anyone else, the service gets better and better. We would like to take this opportunity to extend our thanks to the team at AW Lymn at Mansfield Woodhouse, with regard to the funeral organisation for my mother. The process from start to finish was carried out with professionalism,sensitivity and efficiency which is so helpful when the bereaved are working whilst at their most vulnerable.
In particular we would like to mention the small things that give added value to the process. Availability for advice at all times, phone calls from Lymns to check that all is in order the day before the funeral and,of course, the adherence to the small points of respect shown to the deceased throughout the funeral.
All members of the team are valuable to the finished product, and our thanks must be extended to all, but we would like to mention the service provided by Elaine throughout the organisation and the sensitive, respectful and efficient service given by Jonathan and his team on the day. Thank you again.

Excellent service and attention from the beginning. Nothing was too much trouble. Have used Lymn’s for over 20 years for other Family funerals and they get more professional as the years go by. There Limousines are the best in the County, probably the Country. Perfection at its best. Thank you.
