About Us
The office, known as The Old Farm, is located in one of the oldest buildings in Mansfield Woodhouse, a former farmhouse that has recently been completely refurbished. It is set in lovely rural surroundings and has a beautiful service chapel, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, washing facilities for specific funeral rites, plenty of parking and a full fleet of hearse and limousines.
Cyril Welsh Funeral Directors, who previously had offices at the premises, was incorporated by the A W Lymn group. The branch has most of the north Nottingham fleet on site, including a Rolls-Royce Phantom VII hearse and matching limousines.
Jonathan Baker is the area manager, and the office is staffed by funeral directors Andy Askew and Stacey Burman who are assisted by funeral arranger and administrator Emma Hind, who will be more than pleased to assist you during office hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
If you need assistance outside of these hours, please call the telephone number at any time and the office can be opened for you at your convenience.
The branch serves all of Mansfield Woodhouse and its surrounding area including Berry Hill, Blidworth, Church Warsop, Clipstone, Forest Town, Harlow Wood, Ladybrook, Mansfield, Pleasley, Rainworth, Ravenshead, Shirebrook, Warsop, Warsop Vale and beyond.

Their service was excellent from first contacting them to arrange things. They kept in touch and provided updates on proceedings throughout The staff were all very professional and understanding through out the process and on the day Jonathon and the team gave a very professional service to us from start to finish and getting us back home. Losing a loved one is never easy but with Lymn's in charge of mum's funeral I knew we were in safe hands. So many positive's, its hard to know where to start. Wendy was kind and sensitive whilst being professional. The Chapel of Rest was just right - the perfect setting to pay one's last respect's. On the day of the funeral I was so nervous I thought I'd never get through it but Jonathan was amazing and gave me every confidence that all would be well and it was. The hearse was stunning. I really felt mum travelled in style to her final resting place. As was our car, both were Rolls Royce's. Wendy matched us perfectly to a wonderful celebrant - Anja who conducted mum's service perfectly. I can now look back on that sad day with fond memories thanks to Lymn's.

My mum’s funeral was conducted very sympathetically and all the staff were excellent in their approach.
The services by Nicky both at church and the crematorium were personal to mum and even the car we were able to choose for her was perfect

When my David passed away, it's so heartbreaking, but Lymn's made the process easy, what they offer its worth the weight in gold,
My David had the big red bus, it felt like the whole family was travelling with him together, we had David's favourite music playing, my David would have loved it ,
It made a very sad time into a celebration of life, and my David wouldn't have had it any other way
