perfect did just what we wanted handled with care and respect
The office, known as The Old Farm, is located in one of the oldest buildings in Mansfield Woodhouse, a former farmhouse that has recently been completely refurbished. It is set in lovely rural surroundings and has a beautiful service chapel, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, washing facilities for specific funeral rites, plenty of parking and a full fleet of hearse and limousines.
Cyril Welsh Funeral Directors, who previously had offices at the premises, was incorporated by the A W Lymn group. The branch has most of the north Nottingham fleet on site, including a Rolls-Royce Phantom VII hearse and matching limousines.
Jonathan Baker is the area manager, and the office is staffed by funeral directors Andy Askew and Stacey Burman who are assisted by funeral arranger and administrator Emma Hind, who will be more than pleased to assist you during office hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
If you need assistance outside of these hours, please call the telephone number at any time and the office can be opened for you at your convenience.
The branch serves all of Mansfield Woodhouse and its surrounding area including Berry Hill, Blidworth, Church Warsop, Clipstone, Forest Town, Harlow Wood, Ladybrook, Mansfield, Pleasley, Rainworth, Ravenshead, Shirebrook, Warsop, Warsop Vale and beyond.

It was a wonderful time from beginning to end. Nothing was too much trouble for Jonathan and I was made to feel relaxed about the whole thing. The video we had made was fantastic and I’m so pleased that I used this service. It was wonderful to watch afterwards and for family members from afar who could not attend to be able to watch the whole ceremony. Everything was just perfect and dad would have loved the whole thing. We really did him proud with Lymns help,care and advice. I could not have wished for more. What could have been a traumatic time turned out to be a wonderful, warm experience.

From the very outset of our family loss the service has been excellent. As far as we could tell Staff looked after mr O’Brien with compassion and care throughout. Leading up to and on the day of the funeral the family received excellent support. The friendly and professional service made a very difficult time more manageable. Excellent in every way. Sensitive and highly professional. So happy to have them care for my mum on her last and saddest journey. Jonathan took the floral tributes to the grave of my parents’ baby. How he found it in the snow, I have no idea but there they were - so grateful for it.

Lymn were brilliant for my husband Charles Humphries funeral nothing was to much trouble.The pall bearers were really kind and caring.I went to see my husband in the chapel of rest the day before he looked really peaceful just like he was asleep also the chapel was a lovely calming place.It was Stacey that arranged everything for us she was very good made us feel at ease

Every member of staff was helpful from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. No matter how many times we called or emailed or changed our minds. I would Highly recommend to anyone and I already have to a few people. Every little detail was perfect. Even down to the most beautiful order of service I have ever seen (and everyone who came agreed) you’re loved ones are in good hands at lymns.
