Everyone at John Weir, especially Julia and Amanda have been absolutely amazing through our families very sad time. Thoroughly organised and proactive under very trying and difficult circumstances with Covid-19 happening at the same time. Covid caused continuous last minute changes throughout the organising of the funeral from start to finish but Julia remained calm and unflappable and so positive it really helped to take the pressure off our situation. Thank so much John Weir.

I cannot recommend John Weir enough. From the moment I visited the Parkwood Rainham branch in early January enquiring about different funerals, costs etc to making the booking at the crematorium, Julia in the office was there to arrange it all, as well as helping and advising me all the way.  Her kindness and compassion at this difficult time went above and beyond and I am really grateful for all her help. 
On the day of my Mum’s funeral,  I was met at Eltham crematorium by Kevin who had travelled the long journey from Rainham with Mum, and he explained the next step.  The Celebrant - Bridget - who took Mum’s service was wonderful and I would like to thank her so much for the beautiful service she delivered.  Thank you John Weir for making a very difficult and sad time bearable.  Jackie Pearson

Not an easy tasks I thought planing my Mothers funeral, but Julia at the Parkwood office guided us through the emotional highs and lows with professionalism and just the right amount of humour to lift any sadness. I was contacted either by email or phone to confirm every minute detail that arose with patience and understanding, so that on the day everything went smoothly. I would also like to mention the kindness and respectfulness of the very smartly dressed gentlemen who drove us to the crematorium and looked after us on the day. Truly amazing. From the first night we contacted John Weir in a panic, to collecting my nans ashes. Everyone was so helpful and caring through this difficult time. Particularly Julia who helped us with the planning, when I was being rubbish and last minute she knew I was doing million things at the time and she was so calm and understanding and I was reassured my nan was safe in their care right until the end. Contacting with them was seamless, both by phone and emails. They were quick with responses and took care of everything. The pallbearers were respectful and polite and our service taken by Bridget was beautiful. My family and I can’t thank John Weir enough, I hope nan would of been proud.

I can not fault John Weir especially Julie from  Parkwood. Julie does her job with full sympathy , compassion and  she does this with a good professional  service . Sadly this is the third time I have had to arrange a funeral and I would not go anywhere else. A very good all round professional company.

I wish to commend John Weir for the professional, empathetic and seamless, perfect service delivered by Julia of their Parkwood, Rainham, Kent branch and her colleagues in the Rainham branch.
Julia is an experienced, gentle, kind funny lady who put me at my ease from the moment I her met her when I walked into her "office". She asked me what I would like and gently assisted and advised me through an extremely difficult time and unknown territory.
Her listening skills are second to none, my head and heart were in a turmoil and everything I wanted came out in a jumble. Julia made sense of it all, she was so patient and kind and put it all into perspective.
Her customer skills shone again when she met our daughter, our only child who idolised her Dad. We wanted to be the last two people to leave the chapel to say our personal goodbyes and lay roses on my husband's coffin. Julia assured us that one of "The Gentleman" would respectfully appear in the chapel to let us know that if we were ready we may wish to enjoy the sunshine outside. Kevin was that "Gentleman" in every sense of the word. He and his colleagues treated my Husband, myself, daughter, family and friends with the utmost respect.
Mr Weir I did have a quote with a competitor, a very large company, a household name. Regardless of money, not a patch on your company John Weir. The service delivery in their cramped, dark office was shambolic, the complete opposite of Julia's which was crystal clear. On a lighter note Mr Weir, to coin a cliche Julia made my day, please tell her this, she is a credit to your company. She is such a lovely, warm, bubbly, professional person and I hope she is valued.
I would highly recommend your company and when my time comes I hope John Weir will still be there to give me the same wonderful service we enjoyed for my darling husband. Thank you Julia.
