What Families Say

AI Summary

Many families emphasise the guidance and support they receive during arrangements, with several noting that staff keep them informed at each step and are readily available to answer questions. A number of reviews describe how this careful communication and attentiveness reduces stress at an already difficult time.

The funeral day itself is mentioned frequently, with families appreciating the professionalism and respect shown by staff who conduct the service. Several describe how bearers and drivers handle proceedings smoothly and with dignity, attending to the needs of mourners throughout.

Families repeatedly return to the personal care shown by staff, noting that they are treated not as transactions but as people in grief who deserve patience and compassion. Many mention feeling genuinely supported rather than pressured, and several appreciate that staff go beyond standard practice to accommodate individual wishes and make each funeral personal to the person being remembered.

    Friendly and professional service.

Julia helped us brilliantly by completing the majority of work to be done when organising my Dad's Cremation service, in a kind and caring manner. To have someone take control of the situation is a blessed relief, and Julia did all that.

Julia was really quick to answer my emails and I admired her honesty and openness when asking sensitive questions about my Dad.

    Julia has great nails!!!

One other thing I would like to mention was on the day of the Cremation, I had asked to be a Paulbearer. I felt the training on what to do was a little bit rushed. So much so, I felt at one point the weight on my shoulder suddenly increasing to a point where I thought the coffin was going to fall. I was subsequently told to set away from the coffin. It might be you allow a little longer on teaching voluntary Paulbearer's how to correctly carry and unload the coffin in a clearer manner. It was a bit disturbing for me and is something I think back to.

  • 5 Patrick Rusk 4th Nov 2024

My aunt had paid for and outlined what she wanted for her funeral. Throughout the process of deciding how the service would be, Sheron was most helpful, tactfully advising and ensuring that nothing that needed to be done was forgotten. I would like to say thank you for all the guidance you gave which enabled me to approach the funeral knowing that everything was in place. The pallbearers carried themselves in a manner which seemed just right, neither too somber nor too casual. They were most respectful. So may I thank you all for making it a service which I believe my Aunt would be pleased with. Sincerely, Patrick Rusk.
