Julia at Parkwood branch was funny kind and compassionate and made planning my brother Jim’s  funeral so much easier. 
Thank you to everyone at John Weir who attended on the day and Shane who kindly asked if Jim’s family and friends would like to carry him into the chapel which they were happy to do.
The whole service was just as we wanted it to be.

We thank you for helping us throughout our journey, your kindness and compassion has been excellent.
I would suggest however, that the donation process be made easier for mourners to access- very few understood that they actually could send donations to charities via/through your services; others commented that they couldn’t actually follow the process.

Julia went over and above, at a time when our family is heart broken, Julia took all the stress out of the funeral details she was there to guide us through with so much kindness and compassion. We had never organised a funeral before, so having decided to take the service ourselves, we depended on John Weir for guidance, and they were very helpful and sensitive, both beforehand and at the crematorium.
There was a problem getting the death registered, and Amanda sorted it out for us.

Julia was there for me every step of the way nothing was to much trouble she made what was a very hard and emotional job very easy. In the nicest way possible I hope I never have to use them again . But I would highly recommend them. Ben and his team were excellent as well. Worse bit I couldn't give them all a hug they showed my father and our family so much respect.

I was very impressed with everything John Weir have done. All staff staff were very caring.

However Funeral guide have addressed emails to me and my late husband which is a little insensitive at this time.
