I would like to thank everyone involved with the funeral of Sheila Gallyot. Our beautiful mum got the send off she would have been proud of. I'd like to thank Emma especially for being so understanding and supportive. She made us feel like we were family through out the whole process at such a sad time. Les and Joe were great leading the hearse and showed much empathy.

I highly recommend john weir they are so friendly and helpful and make all the arrangements much easier right to the final day.On the day of the funeral the staff were very helpful and made the whole thing feel special.I just want to say a big thankyou from myself and family to all the staff that were involved.

We used John Weir for our daughter's cremation and dealt mainly with Emma at the Parkwood Branch. She was so kind, helpful and compassionate. She provided all the information we needed and we felt held and supported throughout the worst journey we, as a family, have ever had to deal with. She was at the end of the phone if we needed her and she responded quickly.

Thanks also to the team of drivers who looked after us on the day... they ensured everything ran smoothly.

Our family would like to extend our deepest thanks to John Weir—especially Emma, Simon, and Kevin—for their outstanding support and assistance with my mum’s funeral. Emma went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. She even remembered that Mum always loved her “big hair” and made sure to puff it up a little before we went to see her, which meant so much to us.
On the day of the funeral, Simon and Kevin were incredibly sympathetic, offering gentle guidance throughout. They also shared a few kind, light-hearted moments with us on the way to the wake, which brought real comfort during a difficult day.
From start to finish, everything was handled with such professionalism, care, and compassion. Thanks to their dedication and kindness, Mum had the perfect farewell, and we will always be grateful for that.

All the staff at John Weir without exception have been kind, calm and efficient at a difficult time.
We felt understood, supported and that we could ask anything at any time.
Family photos were well adapted for the Order of Service and we took advantage of the streaming service so family far away were included.
I have nothing but the highest praise for the team.

Everyone in the office was polite, professional and welcoming. The men who drove us to the funeral were very respectful, answered any questions which we had and allowed us to take our time before and after the actual funeral. I would highly recommend using John Weir Funeral Directors in the future which I plan to do. Thank you for making everything run so smoothly taking the stress and anxiety away from me and my family.

From start to finish nothing was too much trouble, even when we wanted to change a few bits, that was done without any problems. I used John Weir for my dear Mothers funeral last week as I had used them before 7 years ago and was pleased with their professionalism care and kindness . This time was even better from Holly at the Parkwood Branch who was there for me every step of the way in the organisation she arranged the Celebrant Peter Tongue who was excellent and delivered our service exactly as we wanted .  To the directors on the day who were professional and caring to our funeral party . My Mother would have loved her service . So Thank You all at John Weir for making her day so special I couldn’t asked for more.
