The compassion and empathy we received from Owens Funeral Services was remarkable, all our needs were met from all staff involved. Everything was explained in a clear and concise way that was understood which enabled us to have a funeral that was fitting for our family. I would highly recommend Owens funeral service to anyone who has lost a loved one.

We met Alex at Owens after calling other companies. No one matched her kindness, professionalism and sensitivity. Shocked frankly by others attitudes, the difference between them and Owens is immeasurable. We would now trust no one else for any circumstances. She was informed and helpful and walked us through the whole thing. Nothing was too much trouble and she and Owens made what was one of the hardest times as easy as possible. Also offering us extras which we wouldn't of known about and will treasure forever. Everything we asked for and more was delivered, giving my dad the service we wanted and the dignity he deserved. I cannot speak highly enough of Alex and the company she represents.

Owens Funerals did a great job of arranging my Mum's funeral. Being a small family run business they offer a hands on service. Nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail was first class. Lorraine and Alex were particularly helpful and always at the end of the phone if I needed anything. I would certainly recommend this Company.

From the moment they collected my Dad's body from his home after passing away, I decided to go with this funeral directors because the 2 men who collected him showed so much compassion in that short time and carefully took him to the hospital. They left a fresh white rose where they collected him from which we found great comfort in. Alex was our funeral director and was so attentive, helpful and reassuring from the get go. Their premises are immaculate and welcoming and Dad was looked after incredibly, we were even able to have him in an open casket 3 weeks after his death before the funeral because he was so well cared for. Alex stayed in contact with me constantly, I was able to visit whenever I wanted and all questions were answered and taken care of. We gave a description of how we wanted the funeral to go, and they went above and beyond to ensure he had the most perfect send off. From the bottom of my heart my sisters and I are so thankful for Owens and how they put us at ease on such a difficult journey and it helped to sleep at night knowing he was there. I would HIGHLY recommend using Owens if God Forbid you lose a family member, they really do go above and beyond and their services are just beautifully implemented with the upmost care and respect. To Alex, Kenny, Jamie, Lorraine and everybody else, thank you xx

From the first moment we contacted Owens, the service and care we received was beyond our expectations. Their kindness, compassion, empathy and support,at such a distressing time, made everything so much easier. Alex was brilliant throughout and held our hand through the various stages, from planning the cremation to sorting out the flowers and recommending Janette, our celebrant . Nothing was ever too much trouble and, whilst this was the saddest of times, we cannot thank everyone at Owens enough. Thank you from us all.

From first visiting my home to remove my Wife’s Body, I found the two Gentlemen from Owens were very courteous and showed the upmost respect and were dignified in everything they did. I knew from that moment that my Wife would be in safe hands. This was the reason I chose Owens to carry out the Cremation. I now have my Wife’s Ashes. From start to finish I cannot find fault with the very Kind and Thoughtful Staff at Owens.

I would not go anywhere else. Lorraine and Alex and their Team give that special, caring touch. We were recently blown away by the attention to detail, personal touches in the Hearst on the final journey, if I could sun it up I’d say, if you want love and respect of your loved one, even after passing, these are the Team. Our recent care, planning and funeral of our loved one, was in fact a beautiful, happy day which is what we wanted. It was beautiful from start to finish. I cannot thank Owen’s enough for leaving us with peace of mind that the final journey was beautiful and full of love.

I can not fault the staff, they are professional but friendly, empathetic and listened to our requests. The staff made a stressful and upsetting time easier, they were so supportive and suggesting a range of alternatives which I would not of thought of, enabling me to give my late father an amazing send off. The staff in Owens thought of everything, and took care of everything, I can not recommend Owens enough, they are amazing and I can’t thank them enough for their kindness and service that they provided.
