Owens Funeral Services delivered outstanding care during a very difficult time. Lorraine and Alex handled my father-in-law’s funeral with genuine compassion and attention to detail. Every request was met without hesitation, and they consistently went above and beyond to support the family in every way.

They communicated clearly, guided us through each step, and created a respectful and dignified service that reflected exactly what we hoped for. They were patient, understanding, and always present when needed even in out of hour times.

My dad had started a funeral plan with Owen's a few years ago. He unfortunately passed suddenly, and I am grateful he chose this place.

Lorraine and Alex, from the first meeting and throughout, have been the most caring, understanding and compassionate pair. Nothing has been too much trouble, and everything has felt personalised. This difficult time has also brought me comfort, when I have first hand seen the care they have for my dad, and myself. 

I am forever grateful for everything they have done, and I have never seen a hearse so beautifully dressed. From plenty of conversations had, they became to know my dad's likes and dislikes and without any ask, they added many personal touches that my dad would have loved.

When our daughter died the trauma and grief that we felt was awful. We had no anticipation of this or understanding of the process that we now had to endure. Owens funeral, a family ran business,we feel became an extension to our family. The support, understanding, guidance and patience was truly outstanding. Alex and her mum Lorraine showed compassion beyond any expectations.
They made this life changing event a passage that we could manage.
We will always be grateful and thankful to them.
An amazing service that through this grief will never be forgotten.

The staff at Owens have looked after quite a few family members now.They tailor every occasion with empathy and taste.They always go beyond expectation and are lovely and generous folk.They guide but not push you through any bereavement. I can’t thank Owens Funerals enough for all they have done for us. They have been so kind, thoughtful and supportive throughout the whole process. Even now, when they have done all they need to do, they are still helping with problems surrounding the burial plot when they have no obligation to do so.

We couldn't have asked a better company than Owens in Liscard to look after our Mum. They not only looked after Mum with such tenderness and thoughtfulness, we, as a grieving family, were treated the same too. Without us asking, they added little touches we never even thought about, and suggested different things which were really lovely and thoughtful. I could go on and on, but just want to say a massive thank you to the whole team, especially Lorraine and Alex. Definitely a 5 star company! We will never use anyone else in the future. 💞

I cannot thank Alex and the whole Owens team enough for the care and support they gave me and my family after the passing of my husband, Chris. From start to finish, Alex went above and beyond. She is so passionate about her work, and it shows in everything she does. Her professionalism, kindness, and empathy made such a difference during a very difficult time.

Alex included me and my children in every decision about Chris and his funeral, always making sure we felt supported and comfortable. She offered thoughtful suggestions when we needed guidance, and nothing was ever too much trouble.

I am so deeply grateful to Alex and everyone at Owens. I couldn’t have asked for anything better for my Chris.
