I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Alex, Lorraine, and everyone at Owen's Funeral Directors for everything they have done for me and my Jimmy.
From the very beginning , they showed such genuine care, and kindness, and understanding.
They guided me though one of the hardest times in my life with such compassion and patience, nothing was ever too much trouble.
Alex, Lorraine, and the whole team treated my husband Jimmy with such dignity and respect, which meant more to me than words can say.
I truly felt he was in the very best hands.
The kindness and support they have shown me has meant the world.
I will never forget everything you have done for me.

This was all new to me made me feel at ease talked me through everything really looked after my mum while she was resting made her look absolutely beautiful guided my mum on her way the way she would of wanted lovely people would recommend without a doubt ❤️

I couldnt of asked for anymore from these guys, from the minute i stepped inside to enquire about the funeral to the minute they dropped myself and family off at the wake they were amazing,nothin was a problem for them and we as a family couldnt have done any of it without them,friendly, caring and professional, highly reccomended.

Came across Owen's website looking for a funeral director for my father's funeral. Their website was laid out well, information was clear. I did not approach them in advance and my first face to face interaction was with the funeral operatives who took my father into their care in the middle of the night. Professional, kind and compassionate and timely.
The following morning I called Owens and spoke to Alex, our funeral director, who runs this company with her mother. My family and I went in to make arrangements. Alex sent a list of questions for us to discuss before our appointment..eg limo numbers, coffin types, flowers, clothes, it was a comprehensive list that covered everything. To discuss everything before we attended to make arrangements, was extremely helpful saved time and we were all in agreement! The premises are bright airy and modern and we sat i front of a co.fortable fire on a cold day. Before we left Alex asked what music dad liked..in unison we replied country and western, Alex replied oh thats good Ill play some for him while he is with us! We took clothes in and dad's favourite aftershave. We chose not to view but the option is there.
The day of the funeral Alex arrived at the house, her uniform was splendid, the funeral operatives were excellent, our lovely driver was so respectful but had a quietly fab sense of humour, needed to deal with my family. The celebrant,Jeanette was organised by Alex and comes highly recommended. Alex skilfully and compassionately guided us through the whole process and my family and I could not be more grateful. I highly recommend using Owens Funeral Service for professionalism, compassion and value for money. Thank you for making a sad process and easy one.

Dad’s Funeral was Beautiful.  Everything went so well  from the moment Dad was in Owen’s till his final journey.

We recently used Owen’s Funeral Service for our dad’s cremation.

From the moment we stepped into Owen’s Funeral Service in Liscard Village and met Alex we knew our dad would be taken care of in the most respectful way and our family would be well looked after.

Alex went above and beyond to make sure each and every detail was perfect, she made the saddest time of our lives a little more bearable. 

The professionalism from Alex could not have been any better, her kindness, thoughtfulness and reassurance was exemplary.

On the day of our dad’s cremation 12th February 2026 Alex and the team were caring and supportive to our family.

We are heartbroken to have lost our dad (Ted) but so grateful to Owen’s and Alex for making everything so much easier during those first few painful weeks.

Mum died at home 
Owens collected her from her house.Your staff were professional and accommodating at a very difficult time.
Because of this I had no problem in deciding to use Owens for the funeral arrangements.
Loraine and Alex were very reassuring and guided me expertly through the process to its conclusion at Landican.

We chose Owens as we wanted a highly rated independent funeral directors for our dads funeral. They were excellent from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, their pricing was also clear and unambiguous. I dont think we could have placed our beloved dad in to better hands. We would have no hesitation in recommending them. Its just a pity that we cant give them more than 5 stars

Amazing I really needed to find this company
We were I a gorride Jam
When my mum passed away L& Genwould not pay off her funeral allowance as she got got to pay her monthly she had dementia so it's not on..But Ownes funrals stepped in and let me pay In chunks and very kindly gave me some discount as they could see I was panicking
From the first day to the wake I felt that they were with me as the hardest time in my life
I cared for my for 6 years with a horrible dementia desiease

Alex was a super star I would recommend to go with Owens so the care and attention can be yours to at a very difficult time
This is what we need back in our communities a proper caring small family business

My mum looked impeccable when we went to see her

If you have got quotes for more I wouldn't go with any other firm then Owen and the quote could be less then you think

The friendliness, professionalism, and total compassion shown during, and after, the process of arranging the cremation and internment of my husband's ashes could not be faulted - they went over and beyond the usual call of duty to ensure everything was to our wishes. From the first, point of contact I was most impressed with the
professional yet caring service provided by Owens. a family business personally supervised by a mother and daughter team of Lorraine and Alex. my late dearly beloved wife, Tanya could not have been in better hands. to prepare her for her final journey. The business premises and Chapel of rest, were spotlessly clean, and luxuriously furnished and all my arrangements both at the crematorium and at the Thanksgiving concert, to celebrate my wife's life, were carried out to the last letter.
