We were really impressed with the service we had from Stibbards and the celebrant. We were very nervous and were coached gently in how the day should be. It was heartbreaking but beautiful and we're very grateful to them for that.

From the first phone call to the actual day, Stibbards have been kind, caring, understanding and extremely professional. They are prompt to return calls, answer questions and advise on all issues.
On the funeral day itself we were informed on how everything would be done and we were treated with great respect and compassion.

I knew Stíbbards had a good reputation which is why we used them for our Mum. From the first time we made contact with Wendy they have been fantastic. They have been professional, but caring. Always willing to do whatever we required for our Mum. Her funeral was beautiful. The amazing coffin. The beautiful car, the dear drivers and pall barers. Our Mum was treated like a Queen yesterday and we know she would have been absolutely thrilled. We can’t thank you enough. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you

At this difficult time with covid and the pressure the undertaker must be under the staff had taken care of everything in a very difficult time for me and my family, lossing someone so close they provided a outstanding service.

Mum's prepaid funeral,a traumatic experience anyway, was made a very dignified event. Stibbards spared no expense to explain, guide and perform a first class funeral. The respect shown to both mum and the family echoed a quality of service sometimes forgotten these days.

I would like to thank Stibbards, Shoeburyness, for the excellent and compassionate way in which they handled the funeral of my husband. Phone calls and emails were answered swiftly and David was kind enough to drop by on a number of occasions to collect/deliver paperwork and various other bits and pieces. Lee, the conductor, had a supportive approach on the day and did not rush us after the service. We were pleased with the celebrant, Karon. Everything went smoothly and all was as we had wanted it to be. Thank you again, Sally.

Having never had to organise a funeral before, we were recommended by a friend to use Stibbards. I must say that they were so attentive and compassionate from the first call, unlike another we phoned. We were looked after throughout by Wendy at the Hadleigh branch and she was wonderful, answering our many questions promptly. The funeral director on the day made sure the funeral run completely smoothly, and we couldn’t fault a single thing, it was so dignified and respectful all the way through. I would therefore highly recommend Stibbards.
