Stibbards took care of my Dad when he passed away nine years ago. This time it was my Mum, who lost her life to covid. They provided the same level of care and respect and offered exactly the same services this time, despite the pandemic which I know many other funeral directors were not offering. Stibbards took over all the necessary arrangements from the date we contacted them about Joyce's death and provided us with all the information as regards choosing a coffin, arranging flowers or donations to a charity and the conduct of the funeral service itself, which the Rev Jon Stannard led with dignity was very well planned. There was always a member of staff available to assist with any questions we wished to ask.

I’ve never arranged a funeral before...Scott and Martin went beyond their remit patiently guiding me through the process. I would say the atmosphere at Stibbards is one of warmth and compassion.

We can never thank you enough for the service recieved from you at this difficult time. You have been like another member of the family, always there to answer questions, allay our fears and completely understand what we are going through. You treated us all with such respect especially Brian - your care of him, for him, was overwhelming.
The funeral was beautiful, Brian would have been proud. The cars were fabulous and all the staff from Stibbards were outstanding.
Special mention for Lisa who has been there whenever we needed her, to Stuart for his special help with the car and for Martin who genuinely made us feel at ease as he led us through the final farewell to Brian. Thank you , you are first class.

Everyone at S. Stibbards & Sons are not only professional but caring in every way, nothing was too much for them to do for us.

I would especially like to thank Martin & Lisa for their fanatic support in helping us prepare and put everything into place for mums burial and also many many thanks to Scott and his team for the outstanding effortless attention on the day of the funeral.

I know death is not something that people like to talk about and less when its time to arrange a funeral but if it were possible I would recommend S. Stibbards & Sons more than 100%.

We had discussed a non attendance funeral and it seemed sensible due to Covid and the fact Mums friends and old colleagues were very elderly themselves. We also, as a family, have no religious beliefs and absolutely did not want any form of religious input. We found Stibbards after we realised a national advertisement had no local franchises, not realising that Stibbards would provide the service we required. As our ‘family’ undertaker of many generations l was extremely happy to be with them. They were absolutely faultless throughout the process. Kind, informative, and very professional. Everything was efficient and sympathetic. The obituary and donations page has given us great comfort and was a focus for our family that are dotted around the world. I would recommend Stibbards to everyone and it is a strange comfort that Mum was served by the family that had also served her own grandparents and parents. I should have called them first.
