S.Stibbards & sons done my Dad’s funeral & I can say they done a brilliant job from start to finish ,
Revd Jon Stannard Was great he got my dad so right it was like he knew him ,
They did my mum’s funeral 5 weeks earlier which was outstanding on both funeral’s ..

Louise was lovely in the Hockley Office made the process very simple at such a difficult time. 
The only thing I would change would be that all services are available at all sites as we had to speak to someone from another office to sort a headstone. No reflection on service just would have been easier to have only feat with Louise

From the minute Debbie answered the phone, Stibbards have been completely wonderful.  From first to last and everything inbetween.

Their calm, guidance - accommodating some intersting requests - and the care on the day was outstanding.  We were honoured to have Martin Stibbard lead on my father's funeral.  He was awfully kind, considerate and smart.  Totally in command, while being amazingly understated, clever.  

Our theme was blue - the coffin, the flowers, everyone wore blue, so even Stibbards kindly wore blue ties to match.  Small but considerate and hugely appreicated gestures.  Our order of service was 10 pages long - and we sat painstakingly going over and over it, probably about 12 proofs until it was perfect.  The right font, the right shade of blue, the photos placed correctly, our special (peculiar) way of laying things out.  Every punctuation mark, every italic, every underline was scrutinised by us together.  I was so gratgeful for the calm, kind response. 

I would 100% recommend Stibbards.  They also suggested the incredible Seven Hotel for our wake, which we are also eternally grateful for.  What a truly wonderful place that is.

Everyone that we spoke to for my dad's funeral was so kind and caring.
From the very first moment that dad was taken to the coroner's - which was done with as much dignity as something like that can be - to lowering him into his final resting place I could not have wanted a better team of people around me.
I am so grateful to the team at Stibbard's in Hadleigh for their compassion, respect and strength during what is a horrible time.

Funny thing was I thought I had contacted Coop Funerals when sitting at the care home where my mother had past away at 11.30pm after being asked who was we using as the Funeral director. And it was only when I looked again when sitting waiting for the Funeral Director to turn up to take my mother body away did me and my brother realise we had call Stibbards Funeral Director instead. But couldn't of wishes for a more helpful, considerate & friendly Funeral Directors to look after my mothers funeral arrangements. From the time we meet them at the care home where they took my mother away to the first telephone call from Wendy, to our first meeting to discuss the arrangement, to the visit to the Funeral Director to see my mother in the Chappal of Rest, to the ongoing help & assistance Wendy gave us as a family, to the preparing & printing of the Order of ceremony, to the care taken from them at the Crematorium, couldn't of asked for anyone else to have my mother and her family proud.

This was obviously a very difficult time for my family and me. Stibbards were simply excellent and were almost like close friends who really cares. I have lost count of how often my requirements changed but the firm accommodated every request and anticipated many. I would like to particularly thank Louise Grove in the Hockley office who showed great consideration and flexibility to accommodate our wider family visiting from Ireland, as well as the many visits I wanted to make to my dear departed wife
