The first thing the representatives from Hayley Owen said to us when they came to collect my mum's body was "don't worry, we'll take care of her" and they really did. Beth in particular guided us through a distressing period with calmness, clarity and care. They always referred to her as "mum", which meant a lot to me. They helped us every step of the way and ensured everything ran smoothly. I would thoroughly recommend them.

Our experience arranging my husband‘s funeral with Hayley Owens was exceptional!  

I was working with Garry and he walked me through all of the steps and process (which are very different from what they are like in America - which were my only previous experiences) with grace, kindness and patience.

Everything went smoothly and he kept me on task without making me feel any pressure.

Everyone with the team were helpful before, during and after the service. 

At a time when your life is so difficult to navigate, having Garry and Hayley Owens facilitate the process and make sure everything was arranged and options available to myself and our family was a great comfort and appreciated!

Everything was handled with tact and discretion. The celebrant chosen was excellent and suited the style of service we had in mind. All the staff were helpful and understanding, they didn't rush us and guided us though the process at a very difficult time.

Hayley Owen were recommended to me by a few friends. They didn't disappoint at all. Beth looked after us as a family she was very good, kind professional and had a lovely calm manner about her. It all went well on the day. As a company they were always there if we had any questions.

Hayley Owen have been wonderful throughout, from our first contact with them, making the arrangements easy and painless, the visit to the Chapel of Rest (where Dad looked amazing) and all of the support on the day of the funeral (and since). They kept in contact with us all the time and everything was seamless on the day. Gary and Beth were wonderful.

We could not have asked for anything more from Hayley Owen Funerals. From the day of our fathers passing all the way through the process of funeral arrangements and the day itself, the support we received from the team and David was second to none. 
Having not arranged a funeral before, David walked through every step and gave us more options than we ever expected. Everything was handled with genuine care. 
We cannot recommend Hayley Owen Funerals enough.

It was a very sad time in my life as my Father had just passed away.The care home that had been looking after my Father suggested Hayley Owen to be honest I had never heard of them but they were recommended so I went with the recommendation.
A lovely lady called Beth telephoned me to make an appointment to visit me at my house which is obviously much better than in some office.Beth attended my house punctual.I invited her in and she was so softly spoken, professional yet with a very kind manner about her and in all honesty she sorted everything out for me and my family which was very much appreciated.Beth made a very,very sad time much more bearable.Nothing was a problem and my Brother took Dad's ashes back to Spain and Beth even sorted that out for us.
I would recommend Hayley Owen Funeral Directors to absolutely with no hesitation to anyone that has a loved one that has died for either a burial or cremation 101%.

Hayley Owen funeral Director . Boroughbridge Road York did my dear mums funeral recently . I wanted her to have funeral fit  for a Queen we all do I soppose and she got it. I am an end of life nurse I knew I’d be in no state after mums death to be looking for a funeral director  so I had done a lot  of research before mum died I had talked to Hayley Owens about mum before she died and had said I was using them they were supportive and kind and documented my wishes. It was a weight lifted People just ring a local funeral director after their loved one dies  I ve seen it hundreds of times . I did ring round email and look at websites pricing etc before mum died  Hayley Owens wasn’t local to me she was 25 miles away and did the funeral about 75 miles away. I felt Hayley David Angela and Beth had not got numb emotionally working in this industry .  They were so in tune with the rawness we as a family felt and the respect to my late mum and the family was exceptional. It was a complicated funeral I thought due to locations but Hayley Owens  just quietly sorted it , seamlessly . I know I was overthinking and fussy but I never felt that from Hayley Owens . When I say nothing was too much trouble I mean it . The things I’d forgotten  they had covered they had it all in hand . I was fragile I realise now and Hayley Owens was like big safe hug guiding me but not taking advantage at all . Everything was transparent itemised printed out I knew exactly how much it was all going to be . I feel mum got a beautiful send off within the reach of most people .

hayley and her team went the extra mile to make my husbands wishes come true from the car (frank) to the music , they are polite without being sickly and will help with any problems you may encounter.
i cannot recommend them highly enough in fact i will be planning my funeral with her  A*****
