About Us
Established in 1992 and located at Rutland House, A.W. Lymn's West Bridgford office is run by funeral director Andrew Brown, with the assistance of funeral arranger Emily Case and reception and administration assistant Samantha Mensah. Edward Martin is the Senior funeral director for the south area and is also based at A.W. Lymn's West Bridgford Office
The branch includes two visiting rooms and a family rooms There is parking space to the back and front of the building.
The office is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays, from 9 am to 12.30 pm. You can also get assistance at any time of the day by calling the telephone number and we will arrange an appointment at your convenience.
The branch covers all of West Bridgford and its surrounding area including Bradmore, Bunny, Compton Acres, Edwalton, Gamston, Holme Pierrepont, Keyworth, Tollerton, Widmerpool, Wilford, Willoughby on the Wolds, Wymeswold, Wysall and beyond.
Former president of the National Association of Funeral Directors, Nigel Lymn Rose, is a director at A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service, along with his sister Jackie and his son Matthew.

Everyone at LYMN’s has been very kind and considerate from the moment they collected my father from home to the end of the funeral. Andrew, at West Bridgford, has kept us informed throughout, been happy to rearrange dates when requested, even checking we were ok when he was on leave and went through everything with us the day before the funeral. He couldn’t have been more helpful and made a sad occasion as stress free as possible.

I was very pleased with the way everything was handled from my initial first visit

From our first meeting with Samantha to the day of my wife’s funeral Lymns could not have been more helpful and accommodating.
Everything was clearly explained to us and any questions we had in the lead up to the funeral were answered promptly and with great sympathy.
The timing of the transfer to Wilford Hill cemetary was superb and the transport for the family was immaculate.
I will have no hesitation in recommending A.W.Lymn, West Bridgford to anyone looking for a first class undertaker.
