Established in 1992 and located at Rutland House, A.W. Lymn's West Bridgford office is run by funeral director Andrew Brown, with the assistance of funeral arranger Samantha Alla-Mensah. Edward Martin is the Senior funeral director for the south area and is also based at A.W. Lymn's West Bridgford Office
The branch includes two visiting rooms and a family rooms There is parking space to the back and front of the building.
The office is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays, from 9 am to 12.30 pm. You can also get assistance at any time of the day by calling the telephone number and we will arrange an appointment at your convenience.
The branch covers all of West Bridgford and its surrounding area including Bradmore, Bunny, Compton Acres, Edwalton, Gamston, Holme Pierrepont, Keyworth, Tollerton, Widmerpool, Wilford, Willoughby on the Wolds, Wymeswold, Wysall and beyond.
Former president of the National Association of Funeral Directors, Nigel Lymn Rose, is a director at A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service, along with his sister Jackie and his son Matthew.

Everything was so beautifully done...the only thing we were a little disappointed with was the cards were placed on the incorrect flowers...was a bit delicate and did upset my mother, i had to rearrange them ... but everything else was done with care and compasion, many many thanks . We are sorry that there was an issue surrounding the cards on the floral tributes and I have spoken with the funeral director to see if he can recall anything about this. He remembers that the tributes were delivered to us from another florists and the cards, which were already with us, were labelled on the reverse indicating which tribute they were for and placed on the tributes as labelled. Following the service he was requested to move some from the main tribute onto two other tributes which he did. We are sorry if there was an error in this regard and that this upset your mother and would welcome the opportunity to discuss this further with you should you wish. Thank you.

I would like to thank all who were involved in arranging my father's funeral - from your people who collected him the night he died (kindly offering me some time with Dad before taking him away), to Sarah who guided us through the funeral arrangements with empathy and kindness, instinctively understanding the kind of funeral we wanted for Dad. Julie was invaluable on the day, when emotion threatened to overtake me - her wise counsel to take deep breaths worked! It was a lovely service and made the sad process of bidding Dad 'goodbye' a positive one.

The West Bridgford office arranged my Mums funeral.
From the first phone call, the office meeting and everything on the day was excellent. Professional yet caring.
We were also pleased that Jackie personally ran the days events.

Jackie Lymn Rose and her team, notably Sarah Derbyshire, helped us to arrange the perfect funeral for my mum Hether. All the arrangements were made very easily and Lymn’s were totally professional. The Order of Service printing was excellent, the usher at the service likewise. The contact with the Minister was made very easy and the flowers were beautiful. Mum was laid out beautifully and seeing her at peace was very comforting.Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Jackie led the cortège with great dignity and professionalism and I cannot praise her and Lymn’s highly enough.

I would just like to say how wonderful both Sarah and Colin were during the funeral of my dad. It was most certainly the hardest thing I had to do but their professionalism and understanding made it a much easier process than expected. They were so kind and friendly and made sure that I was fully aware of everything that was going to happen and understood the entire process. A lovely team who genuinely showed empathy and support for me and ensured the process was smooth and we'll supported.

Supportive, kind and very understanding is what we got. They were very helpful, friendly but still remained very professional in all ways. It was a difficult time for the family and the staff helped us through it.
