I would like to say that the whole family were very impressed with how the whole thing was done. The 'horses and lovely carriage was just as I had hoped it would be and suited everyone I am sure. So much care had obviously gone into this and it was a lovely way to honour a man who had always loved the animals. Thankyou to everyone involved. The Order of Service and everything about the whole service was really well done. The music was just as we had asked for and fitted in well with everything. Father Shaun did a wonderful job throughout and everyone seemed really pleased with the result. I must also mention the excellent performance and lots of thought that had been given by the sons and how proud their Dad would have been of them as he always was. Many thanks to all at A. W. Lymn a wonderful celebration of Peter's life.

I could not have wished for a better service. My Husband Nigel would have been delighted with the hearse and funeral car, as he loved vintage motors, and few funeral directors could have provided such grand transport for his final journey. The kindness and understanding from the staff was a great comfort, whilst also caring out the necessary admin . Thank you A.W.Lymn .

Established in 1992 and located at Rutland House, A.W. Lymn's West Bridgford office is run by funeral director Andrew Brown, with the assistance of funeral arranger Samantha Alla-Mensah. Edward Martin is the Senior funeral director for the south area and is also based at A.W. Lymn's West Bridgford Office
The branch includes two visiting rooms and a family rooms There is parking space to the back and front of the building.
The office is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays, from 9 am to 12.30 pm. You can also get assistance at any time of the day by calling the telephone number and we will arrange an appointment at your convenience.
The branch covers all of West Bridgford and its surrounding area including Bradmore, Bunny, Compton Acres, Edwalton, Gamston, Holme Pierrepont, Keyworth, Tollerton, Widmerpool, Wilford, Willoughby on the Wolds, Wymeswold, Wysall and beyond.
Former president of the National Association of Funeral Directors, Nigel Lymn Rose, is a director at A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service, along with his sister Jackie and his son Matthew.

I am most grateful to the staff at A W Lymn for the most professional way in which they handled the funeral of my dear mother this week. Santanna in the West Bridgford office made all the arrangements exactly as I had requested. She was calm and reassuring which was most helpful when I was feeling distressed at the time of her death.
The funeral itself and the burial 2 days later in another town were handled in a very caring and unhurried way by the staff led by Andrew.
I would not hesitate to recommend A.W Lymn.

From the first phone call following my father's death to being dropped off at the reception after the funeral, Andrew, Santanna and the rest of their team were wonderful. The level of compassion shown was just right and the way we were hand-held through decisions about the funeral was much appreciated. Santanna and her team were brilliant at this sad time. From the start she was very helpful and followed all our wishes. Everything was conducted very professionally and myself and the family had no worries. The funeral usher Andrew was well organised and Gedling crem was a pleasant setting. The minister, Canon Reverend Wheaton was very approachable and met with us before the service, and made sure I was comfortable just prior to giving my readings. The family and friends were very happy, and we felt we gave mum a good send off.
