What Families Say
AI SummaryMany families describe careful attention during the planning stage, with staff taking time to understand their wishes and explain options clearly. Several mention how they were kept informed throughout the arrangements, with regular contact from the team and swift responses to questions as decisions needed to be made.
Families consistently speak to how the funeral day itself ran smoothly, with staff managing every detail discreetly so that they could focus on saying goodbye. Many note that the service felt personal and meaningful, reflecting their loved one well, and that the professionalism of those present—from the cars to the conduct of proceedings—gave them confidence and allowed them to feel supported without fuss.
Communication and responsiveness emerge repeatedly, with families appreciating that they were never rushed, always listened to, and made to feel their requests mattered. A number mention going through a difficult time with less stress because the team took care of practical concerns, explained costs clearly, and showed genuine understanding of what they were experiencing.

We cannot thank Emily enough for the care, compassion and professionalism she showed in organising the funeral for my beloved mum. From the very beginning, everything was handled with such sensitivity and understanding. Emily was absolutely wonderful. She guided us through every step with great empathy, paying attention to even the finest detail and making what is such a difficult time feel much more manageable. The flowers were also absolutely beautiful. The large spray made with pink Avalanche roses was simply stunning and so many people commented on how lovely it was. We received countless compliments and it really was a very special tribute! On the day itself, everything ran beautifully and exactly as we had hoped. We are truly grateful to Emily and the whole team for their kindness, support and outstanding care at such a difficult time.

Emily in the West Bridgford office was very professional, thorough, and understanding. She was both flexible and patient in developing the arrangements with me. The funeral itself went absolutely smoothy and was better than I expected. A real heart felt thank you to the team that made it happen.
