Everything was fantastic from the beginning to the end.
Everyone was so kind and professional nothing was too much trouble
Emily was our go between and she must have the patience of a saint especially when it came to doing the paperwork online.
The drivers and pall bearers were excellent the actual funeral went smoothly and
Brendan was the perfect host.
Even the weather was kind to us.
It was a sad day but A W Lymn got us through it.

I cannot recommend them enough. The care and professional service they gave us made a very difficult experience so much easier. Emily was fantastic, so kind and absolutely nothing was too much trouble in the organisation of Mums funeral. On the day of the funeral everything was done with kindness and professionalism. If you are looking for a traditional kind and sensitive funeral director Lymns are by far the best.
Established in 1992 and located at Rutland House, A.W. Lymn's West Bridgford office is run by funeral director Andrew Brown, with the assistance of funeral arranger Emily Case and reception and administration assistant Samantha Mensah. Edward Martin is the Senior funeral director for the south area and is also based at A.W. Lymn's West Bridgford Office
The branch includes two visiting rooms and a family rooms There is parking space to the back and front of the building.
The office is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays, from 9 am to 12.30 pm. You can also get assistance at any time of the day by calling the telephone number and we will arrange an appointment at your convenience.
The branch covers all of West Bridgford and its surrounding area including Bradmore, Bunny, Compton Acres, Edwalton, Gamston, Holme Pierrepont, Keyworth, Tollerton, Widmerpool, Wilford, Willoughby on the Wolds, Wymeswold, Wysall and beyond.
Former president of the National Association of Funeral Directors, Nigel Lymn Rose, is a director at A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service, along with his sister Jackie and his son Matthew.

From seeing Andrew Brown several months before John sadly died I had exceptional service from him and other Staff throughout this time and nothing was ever too much trouble for them.

I was kept fully informed and consulted at each stage of the funeral arrangements.Staff were very helpful and considerate of needs.Despite some unexpected developments from the original funeral plan these were dealt with and the funeral service and burial were completed to every ones satisfaction.

Sadly for my family we have had to use the services of Lymns 4 times in the last 3 years. On every occasion they have been absolutely first class. Special praise to Edward for being just perfect in managing everything on the day and Emily who sent our family a lovely message on the morning of the ceremony. From start to finish A.W. Lymn in West Bridgford were amazing. We had complications with distance and lack of communication from the church but Emily took it all in her stride and was always calm and helpful.
