We found the staff at AW Lymn to be professional and helpful both prior to and during Mum's funeral ceremony. Andrew, Jane and colleagues were courteous, good humoured and respectful providing the appropriate information and details in a timely way. Mum's casket was absolutely beautiful and the flower arrangement on top was a kind and lovely touch. Thank you to everyone for making Mum's funeral poignant and tasteful. Given the difficult circumstances and restrictions in place owing to Corona virus, my family and I are grateful for the effort put in to help make the ceremony a memorable one nonetheless. I would highly recommend AW Lymn to anyone looking for a bespoke approach with those extra little touches that make all the difference on the day.

In these difficult circumstances with not only having to deal with a member of the family passing, but the Coronavirus also making everything much more of a strain for everyone.
I found Andrew at West Bridgford to be very helpful and easy to talk to about all aspects in these difficult times.

Established in 1992 and located at Rutland House, A.W. Lymn's West Bridgford office is run by funeral director Andrew Brown, with the assistance of funeral arranger Samantha Alla-Mensah. Edward Martin is the Senior funeral director for the south area and is also based at A.W. Lymn's West Bridgford Office
The branch includes two visiting rooms and a family rooms There is parking space to the back and front of the building.
The office is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays, from 9 am to 12.30 pm. You can also get assistance at any time of the day by calling the telephone number and we will arrange an appointment at your convenience.
The branch covers all of West Bridgford and its surrounding area including Bradmore, Bunny, Compton Acres, Edwalton, Gamston, Holme Pierrepont, Keyworth, Tollerton, Widmerpool, Wilford, Willoughby on the Wolds, Wymeswold, Wysall and beyond.
Former president of the National Association of Funeral Directors, Nigel Lymn Rose, is a director at A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service, along with his sister Jackie and his son Matthew.

Andrew Brown has been very professional and thoughtful throughout in organising my late mother's cremation... what can we say but thank you so much. you did mum proud ! the funeral was everything we wanted and more. Everyone commented of what a lovely service it was and how beautiful her casket was and it really was everything we wanted. thank you for recommending the florist they were brilliant. We were very pleased with my Father’s funeral. Lymn’s were very helpful, provided good advice and were responsive to our requests. On the day, attention to detail was clearly evident & Julia did an excellent job of leading the process right from its beginnings from Lymn’s premises through to the end of the service at the crematorium. All staff were courteous and respectful. We felt our Father was in safe hands.

Sarah and Andrew have been brilliant - at a time that is so difficult, they make the process as easy as possible, treating you with genuine care - taking time to really listen and get to know you and the loved one you’ve lost. The services they offer cover everything you could ask for, with options to suit a wide range of preferences and budgets.
