Excellent service, managed by an empathetic and knowledgeable team. I had absolute confidence that the team knew what they were doing and when and had the best interests of our family at the heart of everything they did. The team at the funeral directed things in a professional manner and everything felt under control at all times which is reassuring for such an important occasion.
Established in 1992 and located at Rutland House, A.W. Lymn's West Bridgford office is run by funeral director Andrew Brown, with the assistance of funeral arranger Emily Case and reception and administration assistant Samantha Mensah. Edward Martin is the Senior funeral director for the south area and is also based at A.W. Lymn's West Bridgford Office
The branch includes two visiting rooms and a family rooms There is parking space to the back and front of the building.
The office is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays, from 9 am to 12.30 pm. You can also get assistance at any time of the day by calling the telephone number and we will arrange an appointment at your convenience.
The branch covers all of West Bridgford and its surrounding area including Bradmore, Bunny, Compton Acres, Edwalton, Gamston, Holme Pierrepont, Keyworth, Tollerton, Widmerpool, Wilford, Willoughby on the Wolds, Wymeswold, Wysall and beyond.
Former president of the National Association of Funeral Directors, Nigel Lymn Rose, is a director at A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service, along with his sister Jackie and his son Matthew.

I can’t adequately express how amazing Lymn were - from beginning to end - in providing vouchers for, planning and executing my late father’s funeral. They went over and above in every aspect, even agreeing to arrange flowers to our own brief rather than insisting on the designs in their brochure, I have no hesitation in recommending them. They made a terribly sad, stressful, experience as simple and calm as it could possibly have been. Thank you!

Handled with great sensitivity and compassion. Very expensive but I have nothing to compare with. Only thing that is stopping me giving excellent were some admin errors which caused a few unnecessary journeys.

My little princess was 12 years old and it was one of the hardest days of my life. Santanna at Lymns did an amazing job and is a credit to the industry, the funeral Director Matthew was fantastic, the attention to detail, colourful attire, the balloons on the cars and so one were just so much appreciated. Matthew was kind, considerate and gentle on the day with some very kind words and lovely support. Wayne our driver was also a credit to Lymns he was polite and professional but he too was genuinely a nice gent who really cared about his job and providing the mourners with a good service. I know my little girl would have approved and really liked Matthews Tie too :)

Five stars from us. Both Edward and Santanna have helped and supported us through the worst time of our lives, in arranging all aspects of the funeral for our son, Adam, who tragically passed away at 26 years of age.
Santanna set up a Justgiving page for us to raise funds to provide defibrillators in memory of Adam.
Everything on the day went ahead as planned - nothing was too much trouble.

Despite heavy rain and a muddy field, the staff were able to conduct the burial very well. All the staff were polite and helpful throughout, coping with my moments of confusion.
