Paul was a regular local preacher at Keyworth Methodist Church and I particularly remember a sermon he gave, many years ago, which he called 'Take Courage'. It began with a photo of a glass of Courage Ale, but was a masterclass in bringing his message to life, and always without notes! I will remember his amazing contribution to the life of the church, his energy and belief. He was very knowledgeable and made a powerful contribution. The last service he led at Keyworth was only four weeks ago, sharing his faith right to the end of his life. I'm sure I speak for many when I express our gratitude for his service to the life of the church. A true gentleman who used his influence always for the good.
