The Jenkins family have been helping bereaved families in the Merseyside area since 1880. Today, Richard and Shannon Jenkins, alongside their children Richard Jnr, Ryan and nephew Barry, are the fourth and fifth generations of Jenkins to devote themselves to the funeral profession. As a family and as a business they are ready to help anyone who comes through their doors.

The Allerton Road funeral home has a chapel of rest where you can comfortably spend time with your loved one as well as private consultation spaces for arranging funerals. From 1st contact they helped us through and knowing Shannon was always available, with her wealth of knowledge and understanding to guide and advise us, made a very very sad time so much easier.

Richard & Shannon made an incredibly sad and difficult time a bit easier. Nothing was too much trouble, there was absolutely no pressure for anything. We were guided along every step of the way. We received the best service. From the first phone call informing them of my Mum’s death at her care home, to her burial everything was dealt with professionally. This included minor issues that could so easily have been overlooked. Communication was good, and Shannon was always available to explain and offer advice. They were sensitive to my Mum’s religious beliefs, and showed empathy to all family members. We knew what to expect as they had dealt with my Dad’s funeral some years before, and I would recommend them to anyone for their personal touch and reassuring way that is outstanding. Many thanks to Shannon, Richie and the team.
