The thought of organising a funeral was so scary but Crescent Funeral Services were amazing and helped me through the process. James made such a difficult time so much easier and I felt that I was always kept informed of all the options with nothing being too much to ask.
Both ceremonies were perfect and I am very grateful for all the help we were given to organise them.
I will definitely be recommending them.

The service we received could not have been better. We were beautifully and sensitively held from my mother’s funeral to her  memorial. There was not a hitch. The 24 hour communication service   was superb and it really works !

Crescent Funeral Services were outstanding. The care they showed to my late mother and our family was wonderful. Simon guided me through the stages so kindly and with touching support - I could not have coped so well with the grief and arrangements without Simon and his team. Everybody said how wonderful the funeral was and I have to thank Simon in being able to achieve our wishes for a celebration of a life well lived and well loved.

Simon and the team at Crescent Funeral Services were everything and more than we could have hoped for from the first point of call, to collecting my Mum's body, being open to as many visits as we needed in the chapel of rest, to planning the cremation and service of celebration. Before Mum's death she had chosen Crescent and we knew that her decision would be the right one, but they went above and beyond. Thank you to you all.

We had excellent service from the time we arrived at The Crescent . James greeted us in a very professional manner and made us feel welcome and at ease. 
As it was the first time we had arranged a funeral and found it quite daunting, James explained everything in detail and recommended the celebrant Emma Britton. Emma wrote the eulogy on our behalf and she was outstanding. On the day of the funeral, we arrived at the crematorium and were guided again by James and Emma . They went above and beyond to ensure we had my father's funeral conducted meticulously.

From day one we met James who made us feel very comfortable making arrangements for my mothers funeral. Nothing was too much trouble and even arranged for flowers in the shape of an irish setter. On the day the staff were all fantastic and the Celebrant had a clear voice and came over perfectly.

From our initial call to inform CFS of our lovely Dad's death until his 'celebration of life' funeral, we could not have asked for more from Simon & his staff.. empathy & compassion along with a few laughs to lighten the mood & with an infinite an attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend CFS to provide the best possible service at such difficult times.

Simon , Robert , James and the team are just the most caring and supportive people at a sad time, They took care of my mum and supported my wife and I through a difficult time. From James taking the first call from me on the Death of my mum through to the cremation and after I could not ask for a more caring , professional supportive team.

Having never organised a funeral before, we had the most beautiful service for our dad.  I was not looking forward to the day at all given it was bringing an end to our dear dads life but everything was perfect and weirdly I enjoyed it, all our guests commented and said we did dad proud, it was just so right.
The team at Crescent made this possible, Bex made it incredibly simple and guided us throughout. She was patient and understanding, our dear mum has dementia & my sister and I were able to visit in the morning and make the decisions for dads service. then we bought mum in the afternoon and Bex went thru the simpler decisions of flowers, hymn & music choice with mum enabling her to be a part of it.
She also offered and supported mum when visiting dad in the chapel of rest, my sister and I sat in the peaceful lounge next to the chapel so we were there when mum came out, there was no rush, mum was given plenty of time to go through that process of saying goodbye. 
We felt at ease when discussing the process, Bex answered all our questions, nothing was too much trouble.
The florist and celebrant were recommended from the Crescent and they were both amazing, our mum chose sunflowers & freesia’s, the arrangement was stunning, little bees had been added to the sunflowers & Gerber's, it was so personal. We chose a garland to go around the coffin and again, it was simple stunning. 
Beverly Symmonds was our celebrant and she too was amazing, at the service, she spoke as though she knew our dad.  

James & the drivers were also brilliant, we were able to take mums wheelchair & frame. James put us at ease as again it was a very surreal and new experience for us.  The cars were beautiful. And the drivers chatted with us when we instigated the conversation. 
Honestly the whole team at Crescent were truly wonderful and know their job well. I have no problem at all with recommending their services. Thank you to you all.

Simon and his team were absolutely first rate in sorting out every single detail of my mother's funeral for us, and I really could not have asked for better. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Emma Britton, the celebrant was equally excellent. Finally, because these things matter to me, the Daimler looked fantastic.
