James, Robert, Kate and the team have been really brilliant. Sensitively managing and supporting us through an unimaginable loss, nothing has been too much trouble. In particular the cremation service and memorial service both on the same day at a weekend were superbly supported. Thank you.

Dad & I had never organised a funeral before. Mum had been suffering a long time with alzheimers. People around us did not really know her. Family members were in The Midlands and the USA. We were unable to contemplate a funeral anyway - watching the coffin disappear behind a curtain, feeling the need to speak in front of others and maybe not cry too much, be brave. We stepped into CFS and were met by the warmest heart, the friendliest face, the most perfectly empathic person we could have imagined. She instantly knew what we needed and made a perfect plan for us. We simply said our farewells in a short, terribly sweet and incredibly emotional moment at their Chapel of Rest. We had a space to put some personal items. We were able to play a film (kind of visual eulogy we had made) and our speeches were spoken or played on a speaker. Just me, Dad, my husband, sons and (we hope) future daughter in law. The next day she accompanied Mum to the crematorium, we were spared the suffering but our thoughts were with her and the music in our heads. I could never imagine that such a traumatic experience which we were both dreading and had felt incapable of participating in, would give us so much joy looking back on it. We did her proud. It was perfect. Katie, who received us and managed the entire service from first meet to the delivery of the ashes today was simply amazing, perfect. When Mum died, from my home abroad I felt so lost saying frequently - I just need a big sister to help me out here. Katie became our person and though we scattered part of Mum's ashes on Sunday and our dealings with her and all the other wonderful staff (Robert & James?) will be over, they will remain with us. They are part of what made this goodbye special. Dad and I cannot thank you and your team enough. I hope with all my heart that I will not need your services again for a long time but when I do, I hope you are all still there. Jules, Terry and family and Mum x

The service and personnel were fantastic, they went out of their way to accommodate our every need and wish. I knew from the initial phone conversation that this Funeral Services cared and were compassionate.
In a difficult time, with family loss, theses are the very people that make the task of saying goodbye to a loved one easier.

We can't thank Simon and all the team at the Crescent Funeral Services enough, for all their care and dedication. They provided a first class service.

They were a great comfort to all the family, not only with the funeral arrangements themselves, but also with what to do and who to speak to for all the formalities and when.

Nothing was too much trouble. Elaine was looked after with such care and dignity, from leaving the house, to how well she was presented in the chapel of rest.

The team provided a beautiful presentation on arrival at the crematorium and treated Elaine with such care and attention.

We had a beautiful attended internment ceremony at the crematorium and James did an amazing job. It seemed very fitting for James to be there to lay Elaine to rest as he was the one who came to escort her to the Crescent chapel of rest at the start of her final journey.

All of the staff from Crescent Funeral Services have treated both the family and Andy with dignity and respect through the whole process. Simon came to meet with Andy and I a couple of days before he passed away so we could discuss together what Andy wanted to happen from his passing through to after the funeral. As a member of the military veteran community Andy had some very specific requests that Simon and the team worked very hard to accommodate and for which I am very grateful. Thank you.

Crescent Funeral Services were very helpful, kind and professional when we asked them to help with our Mothers funeral. 
Simon was understanding and supportive without being too sentimental. He was thorough with the preparations, listened to our wishes and made very helpful suggestions for the whole process. 
The funeral itself was exactly as we had asked and it felt as if the weight of the situation had been taken off the family allowing us to grieve and get  through the day without worry. From the drivers to the pall bearers  and the whole team at CFS our experience was a very positive one in difficult circumstances.

All in all an extremely positive experience for our family.
