I live in Australia and was unable to travel to England for my mother's funeral. Rebecca of Crescent Funerals was very supportive and helped me arrange everything: the service, the Somerset willow coffin my mother wanted, music and a video. She organised the stonemason and the cemetery details and liaised with the minister.


It was very comforting to know that everything was in capable hands.

I can not write a review that will praise Simon , Robert , James and the rest of the team highly enough. 
Given the time of the year we were faced with a few more obstacles and delays , but Simon was on the ball and took the pressure off the family. 
Nothing was too much trouble and we were kept informed all along the way. 
Our loved one was treated with dignity and respect and we felt very happy to intrust him into Simon and James care.
The chapel of rest is a very calming and well designed room. We were not rushed and felt very supported when  we visited to say our last good bye’s. Our young autistic son aged 8 came with us , Simon made this a much less daunting experience with his advice and help.  
Simon came to speak with us about the funeral arrangements on a bank holiday. He also made contact whilst he was on “ holiday” , a true caring gentleman who touched our hearts with his kindness. 
Flowers , order of service , extra items and wood work for the coffin all done to an excellent standard. Put into reality what we had in our minds. 
A lovely mix of traditional values with a modern day twist , is how I would sum up our experience. 
If you want a positivity wonderful and amazingly kind , set of human beings looking after your loved one do not look no further. Professional, knowledgeable and simply the best company around.
