The services for my Mothers funeral were delivered excellently. From the beginning things were respectful, calm, clear and kind, with different options explained and choices noted. They recommended an excellent celebrant, and communication was first rate throughout. They conducted the service elegantly and brought a great sense of dignity to affairs.
At the ceremony they dealt with the sudden crisis of my car having a flat tire with great efficiency, going out of the way to make sure it did not affect the day and to solve the problem- fantastic service for which I am hugely grateful.

Thank you for such impeccable organisation of my dad’s funeral. Mandy and her colleagues were amazing from the first moment we contacted them. Their care for Shirley and for us, her friends, went above and beyond. We had difficulties to overcome and these were eased by her understanding, care and reassurance. A lovely funeral. Whenever we went to a funeral in the village. My husband always used to say, he wanted Susan Whymark to lead my coffin into the church. So it had to be Whymark's. It was a great choice. They made everything easy, which is what you want at a stressful time.

As you may imagine having someone dear to you die is probably one of the most stressful things that can happen. Fortunately, we had already chosen Susan Whymark Funeral Directors before my wife died. We had been to see them, and had been guided through the process of deciding pretty well everything concerning how we wished to be treated on our demise.
When my wife died suddenly, Susan Whymark staff swept into action, guiding me through the final choices which needed to be made. William at Harleston was totally professional, precise, and compassionate; whilst making sure that I understood everything.
He kept everything on track despite changes that I made, and on the day the service provided by William and Susan Whymark was outstanding. It meant that I could concentrate on my grief at my loss, and know that I had nothing else to worry about.
I would recommend Susan Whymark without hesitation. I cannot praise them too much for providing an excellent service at that difficult time of my life.
