Susan Whymark Funeral Services were amazing in making the arrangements for my Mum's funeral. Joanne guided us through every step of the way and Melanie the Celebrant made lots of suggestions that we otherwise wouldn't have thought of. Plus we were so grateful that they looked after my Mum in the Chapel of Rest. We couldn't have asked for more.

The team were absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble even with the challenge of a rather large floral tribute in the shape of a train. My wheelchair even had its own transport and was there when I needed it. Our driver so so considerate and gave just the right level of care and conversation, they really cared for us, I would definitely recommend 100%.

Everyone involved in Ann's funeral made it respectful, caring and it was exactly what Ann would have loved.
From planning with Cathy, the support she gave from the complications we had at the beginning (outside of our control) to the regular contact, clarification, support and comfort that was above and beyond any expectations. On the day the funeral team dealt with everything respectfully, calmly and in keeping with our wishes, this made the funeral go smoothly and flawlessly. It's difficult to navigate the practical necessities of dealing with a loved one's death. From the moment I rang Susan Whymark Funeral Services Ltd , I knew I was in safe hands. The night my husband passed away, they came to collect his body from our home and showed deep respect for him, and great compassion for me, as well as leaving a very useful booklet for me to read regarding next steps. When I visited their offices in Eye to make the arrangements, the process was efficient and sensitively handled. There's a lot to do when organising a funeral - choosing a location, viewing the body, getting flowers arranged, doing an order of service with photo montage and music. It was all new to me but Susan Whymark Funeral Services were informative and helpful at every stage. On the day of the funeral itself, the whole team of pallbearers and Susan Whymark were professional, well-organised and sensitive. The pallbearers were flawless at all points and the committal into the grave was seamless. Susan Whymark Funeral Services Ltd helped me give my husband a wonderful funeral and are professional and empathetic to the highest degree. In my opinion they are the best, and none can be better. Sending my grateful thanks to the whole team.
