Listened and gave prompt attention to our requirements for the funeral.  Very helpful with arrangements and suggestions as to format of service. Good communications throughout the process and afterwards.  Arrived on time on the day of funeral and all went to plan. Duties all carried out with respect and care. I was fortunate enough to be able to use Susan Whymark Funeral Services Ltd for both my parents funerals. 

In 2007 my father passed away after a long illness. Both my mother and I were struck at how sensitively, kindly and efficiently everything was dealt with. We were also struck at how reasonable the costs were in comparison to the experiences of other people we spoke to.

Sadly, more recently my mother passed away. I talked through the kind of service I wanted with Susan and was given a lot of support at such a difficult time. Social distancing had to be respected and those attending had to wear masks but despite this it was a lovely service and again I am so grateful for the kindness and sensitivity I was shown at such a difficult time. Everything was exactly as my mother would have wanted it.

The whole process was made simple by the excellent team.  Having never been put at the forefront of arranging a funeral, initially I was daunted by the prospect, but Mandy helped us in the planning, visiting us at home, making the arrangements for the crematorium and service.  Every time I contacted her, I received a quick reply and always received a personal and friendly service.  We never felt rushed or pressured to do anything.  Mandy is easy to talk to and sympathetic and understanding to our needs.

I would Highly recommend Susan Whymark Funeral Services, especially in these strange times of social distancing.

Mandy at Susan Whymarks  was incredibly helpful and understanding. We arranged a very simple,  very small cremation service for Dad. Mandy was supportive, understanding and very kind. All the staff at Susan Whymark were very professional, efficient and understanding. They took care of everything and nothing was too much trouble. We really appreciated their advice which meant that we could carry out most of our mother's wishes despite the Covid 19 restrictions.
